C-Class (W206) [Official] Mercedes Benz C-Class (W206)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206) is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which is produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG since 2021. It replaces the W205 C-Class which had been produced since 2014. The fifth-generation C-Class is available in sedan (W206), station wagon/estate (S206), and long-wheelbase sedan (V206) body styles. The W206 C-Class is based on the Mercedes MRA II rear-wheel drive modular platform also used by the W223 S-Class.

I have read a couple of reviews by the Spanish press already. It seems the interior quality remains worst in class, as seems to be the norm lately with MB.

Just because of this, I would not buy this car.

The plastic quality feels very flimsy.

Yeah I sat in one at the dealer and a lot of the interior feels a flimsy to touch. But the worst problem is the rear seat backs which is curved and don’t feel nice to sit in.

In the latest test from Carwow, (which compared the hybrid versions of the C-Class, 3-Series, and Tesla Model 3) Matt said the C-Class has a good interior.
He did point some small cheap-feeling items but it definitely was not enough to spoil the overall experience.
He also pointed out the rear seat was the best in the comparison. I would agree it is best to see these cars in person before forming an overall opinion.

As if an MB having worst in class interior was news at this point. Look at the A-Class, E-Class, etc.

Cheap plastics, cracking parts... No need to see the W206 in person when even the W205 suffered from the same quality issues.

Ok Nostradamus, you have the gift of sight and touch from far away.
Can you tell me what the surface of the moon would feel like against my bare ass cheeks, so I won’t have to make the trip ?

Is it too hard for a fanboy mind as yours to process the info I have posted?

This verdict is a joke. Why he compare two Hybrids with a full electric, when his point is ,"Tesla wins, why you can charge it at home"? If this is the key point, the hole test ist nonsense. And how many people can really charge at home? 90% of the people living in Berlin have not her own parking spot.

Mat is a hypocrite. He has a hard-on for Tesla and EVs, but his personal car is a dirty, petrol powered new M3 and he owns two dirty old clunkers as well.

I’m a huge BMW enthusiast and own multiple old BMWs, but I’d take a Model 3 over a G20. G20 isn’t anything special, drives like everything else, and there are multiple cars in the segment that are more rewarding to drive.

Then WTF are you waiting for? Go ahead and buy one today.

Accepting that peoples free will may differ from yours and being able to recommend something that isn't necessarily what you'd buy with your money is actually a pretty reasonable hallmark of independent, impartial advice. It would be absolutely ridiculous to expect people to only recommend what they owned, or only own what they recommend.

Also you need to get with the times to survive , it’s not a good look these days to talk shit about things that are environmentally friendly just for the sake of it.
So he needs that money to keep flowing in so he can fuel his M3 at 2 pounds per L

For city driving and having available charging point everytime I would get the Model 3.

On the highway the Model 3 has as much tire noise as a 911. The C-Class ride quality is much better than Tesla, I don't understand why Matt doesn't point that out.
