The luxury model was so ugly and wasn't popular. It's very unfortunate that MBUSA specified such ugly wheels and didn't fix the ride height of the luxury model. It was super ugly, but it could have easily been fixed. Oh well.

In the Bay Area , it's hard to find the luxury model. I only see one or two of those in the last 2 years.
MB might get rid of it. Who knows?

They did get rid of it for 2018. No visible exhaust, small ugly wheels killed this model. Looks like since my lease is up before the facelift, I'm going to go for a C43

Do you think the natural ash wood is real wood or just plastic, because, I know the linden wood and burl wood are just plastic.

All the wood is real. Burl and Linden have a coat of lacquer over them, but they are all real wood.
Thank you PHYBENZ, one sale man from my local MB told me they are all plastic, when i was there to test drive the C. By the way, what do you think the discount for the MY 2017 C 300 should be at this time? Thanks.

How some salesmen get a job is beyond me.

LOL. That's right Dexter. To be telling clients real wood trim is plastic is ridiculous.
O.K, I get it.Thanks guys. When I test drove both the C and the GLC, I did not distinguish the difference between the 7G and 9G transmission. What do you think?

From my experience driving my E 2017 and my friends C class 2016, 9G is more comfortable and has much lower RPM at all speeds, also you will see noticeable difference in fuel consumption and available torque at all speed ranges, it starts from 0 at 2nd gear which makes it very smooth (only on comfort and ECO modes), so far 9G is a winner !!

For normal daily driving, you won't notice the difference.

Thank you , gentlemen.I probably wait for a few months to see if price will come down further for the 2017MY. I would love to get the 9G W205, but MB may jack up the price.

Drove over a rather deep pothole today, it was too late when I saw it because it was just over the hill...that ripped up both of my left tires....$1k AUD gone...I am going to send the bill to the council.

Yeah....these run flat tires are stupidly expensive and not a lot of places stock them, especially those 255/35 19 inch rears. Sydney roads are utter rubbish. I will upload some photos tomorrow.
