C-Class (W205) [Official] Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205)

The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Body styles: W205 (sedan), S205 (wagon/estate), C205 (coupé), A205 (cabriolet), and V205 (long-wheelbase). Production: 2014–2021, 2016–2023 (coupé/cabriolet). Model years: 2015–2021, 2017–2023 (coupé/cabriolet). Predecessor: C-Class W204. Successor: C-Class W206.
Interesting outtake from a "master test" of the W205 against its key competitors - featuring both the C180 with 17 inch wheels and regular suspension and the C200 with 18 inch alloys and AIRMATIC. Impressive how the AIRMATIC smoothens out the minor shocks, albeit with some larger amplitudes. Especially comparative to the bumpy rides of the Mazda Atenza (=6) and the Volvo S60.

It's not an MBUSA ad.
But I agree, those legal warnings/disclaimers at the end are getting way too fast, it's ridiculous. Especially on the radio.

Where's @StanNH? I want to know if he is enjoying his second W205.
I'm still here and enjoying my second C300 very much. The car has been trouble free, with the only glitch being yet another intermittent Keyless Go system that would sometimes just not recognize the fob. The dealer told me there was now a software update/fix for this and they did it in July. I have had no Keyless Go problems since then. This car is everything I expected the first one to be.

I'm so glad you're happy with your car. Hopefully the factory has fixed all the problems by now and the 2016 models will hopefully be perfect.

Our Swedish colleagues from Teknikens Varld are back again with yet another interesting disclosure regarding a new model on the market.

This time they are performing the moose test with a Mercedes-Benz C350e, which actually underperforms to say at least. First, TV runs the vehicle through the test with 72 km/h (45 mph) only to find out the hybrid vehicle is easily losing traction.

The situation is almost identical when the test is being performed at 67 km/h (41.5 mph) and 66 km/h (41 mph). The C350e is finally passing the test when it’s running with no more than 64 km/h (40 mph) – just for a comparison, the Citroen DS5 easily passed the test at 74 km/h (46 mph) and under the same conditions, the Swedish magazine explains.

Asked for a statement, Mercedes-Benz Sweden is explaining that during its own moose test the hybrid vehicle recorded good results at speeds of up to 75 km/h (46 mph) and the reason for this fail is low tire pressure.

Is this test done with the ESP off, cause the C-class shouldn't oversteer if the ESP was on?
