It's very pretty. I just don't know how they'll fare in terms of quality and reliability. I really am not all to familiar with Alfa's and I've never driven one.

I think FCA will have to do their best to impress American customers, because it their make or break investment.They can't afford to fail. Now, the selling point is the price. If they sell the base Giulia for about $2K under the base price of the C or the 3er, then they may steal some customers . I don't think they can even sell at the same price ,but we'll see. By the way, the Giulia could be noisier than the C or the 3er.Just my guess.

At the end of the day I believe there is a reason the German manufacturers are so successful. They spend billions of dollars on research and development and as as pretty and as cool as some other marques offerings may be from time to time, I think the Germans would have them beat for overall engineering excellence.

I like the Alfa, Would I replace either the C or the E with one? No. It has all the positives of being an Alfa (the emotion, the style) im sure it will handle well given the benchmark cars are the new W205 C-Class and the BMW 3er. Thing is though, reliable? bomb proof depreciation? Longevity? I'll wait and see how it fares, but one thing in its favour so far.....It's a hairs breadth close to equalling the C63 AMG for that "auspuff noise".

O K guys, I'm back. I plan to buy the C , I know that the Alfa is new, unknown and all the questionable things that will come to our minds. My question is at what price would you consider to a plunge to buy? I'm sure in term of size, performance, it will be comparable with the C and the 3er.Reliability and services are the big questions but someone will take the risk, dares to be different. Will it be you? I'm wondering, but first I have to get the data, read the review and see it in person. By the way, it might show up in the L.A auto show this November. Please share your thoughts.

For the C-Class sedan, the exclusive AMG accessories are now available at all retailers. At years end, the corresponding offer will also be available for the C-Class station wagon. An additional program for further body versions and other series follows in 2016.

If memory serves, at the introduction of the W222 S-Klasse at Hamburg-Finkenwerder, the S was flown in an Airbus 380. Big car, big aeroplane

Yes, Mick, the A380 was shown in the background during the W222 S-Klasse presentation at Airbus in Hamburg Finkenwerder. 5,6 also came along for the transport in the DHL A300 from Stuttgart.

The C350e, C450, the C300d all for 2016 in the U.S. and then sales are going to really explode with the new coupe and convertible. There is a real chance to overtake the 3/4 Series in the U.S for the first time.

They should bring the C300d RWD as soon as possible, or I will consider the Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Mercedes C 200 Sports Edition unveiled for Japan

Mercedes C 200 Sports Edition

Production will be limited to 700 units.
Mercedes has introduced the new C200 Sports Edition in Japan.

Set to go on sale late next month, the special edition is based on the C 200 AVANTGARDE and features an AMG styling package with 18-inch alloy wheels. The model also has a Polar White or Obsidian Black exterior and an AIRMATIC suspension.

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as there's heated front sport seats, stainless steel pedals and a sports steering wheel. Other niceties include Black ash wood trim and AMG-branded floor mats.

The company is currently accepting orders and pre-tax pricing starts at ¥5,611,112.

And if I may add: 10 years ago, the MBJ S-Class had a LHD share of almost 50%. This has come down as people have come to reason, but if there is one segment still deep into driving with the steering on the "wrong" (=not right) side of the car, it's the Yakuza
