It is right on the cusp based off my personal experience.
I would call the salesperson (possibly assistant manager) again and express your position and hopefully he can work to alleviate the pain. Some of the dealers actively aren't giving out this info as it is resulting in an even bigger hit to customer satisfaction.
My car was ordered in May and is scheduled for delivery to myself on the 30th of December, I have a work colleague who ordered a heavily optioned A200 in March and is due to get his on the 18th.
Frostee, Mr Mercedes, Joyas have all experienced similar if not greater in some cases wait times. Not that it makes it less painful, though at least you are in good company...
