I assume because you don't have a reason for what you did.
Only shared a video I found interesting with clear preface of the off subject nature of its content. Yet it stands an exception amongst my usually more relevant contributions to this topic. Left your pedantic response unattended earlier, but I should point out that inimical comments with the sole purpose of exerting pretentiousness don't add any additional substance to the topic either..

Left your pedantic response unattended earlier,

Pedantic? You knowingly posted off-topic. It's against forum rules (yeah, I'm aware of the irony of me saying this now), and for good reason.

There are places in the forum for videos of this nature. People who want to view those videos can go to the relevant forum. If you'd bothered to post it in the correct forum you would have realised somebody beat you to it.

This is the A-Class thread. Somebody who has an interest in the A-Class will see "new post" and dive into this thread and possibly get annoyed that you've posted a video which has nothing to do with the A-Class.

As an isolated case it's no big deal, but imagine if everybody started posting stuff that has already been posted, and in the wrong forum. The forum would quickly go downhill. Your blatant disregard for the forum structure is inconsiderate and selfish.

Seriously, how difficult is it to post things in the correct place?

Now, I am aware that these last few posts have been off-topic, but this kind of selfish behaviour really pisses me off.

For those interested, can't remember if already posted here's a video of the A250 ILS in action:

Thanks KD, problem is, do any of these guys have agents in Australia? Don't really like having to pull out the ECU and sending it off OS.

OOOHHHHHH I LIKE! Thanks :)

thanks for the video,

cool is the ILS (intelligent lighting system) but doesnt look like either a standard thing or an option on the aussie a250 ?

Also showing a performance increase:

and i suspect very soon:

Back in the 90s I had lusted after a Carlsson ugrade for my 190E 2.6, pitty back then they charged national debt prices via exchange rates and the like.
Brabus normally get their paws on Benz stuff pretty quickly, suffice to say I rekon Brabus will do something pretty special either mechanical or plug & play upgrade wise (they are the tuner for SMART after all) soon enough. Bearing in min these engines in the A, are going to be shared with the C & E Class eventually. Imagine the Brabus version of the A45 *drool*
The other one, RennTech I can see doing work on the engines in the States (via the CLA) as well.

A45 AMG world premiere in Geneva - with over 354 hp

by Markus Jordan | February 12, 2013

A45 AMG is now slowly on the road - even though our drive report of which still have to wait a little. Then the smallest car of AMG in Geneva on 83rd - World Premiere hasGeneva Motor Show (March 7 to 17, 2013).

The Audi RS3 had during testing, it is said from Daimler-development circles, towards the A45 AMG on the test track in Papenburg no chance. 354 hp he will probably have at least, a maximum of 450 Nm of torque - this is probably the vehicle running 270 km / h, while the optional performance package has been ordered. In the series version of the A45 will run 250 km / h electronically limited.

A45 - the empty weight is around 1500 kg are, Mercedes continues with "over 350 hp" where - at least 354 hp, but not a great secret. 450 Nm of torque to help so good propulsion. Technical engineers have AMG worked diligently, the engine seems to be a piece of cake: a new crankcase, new cylinder head, piston, and the parameters of combustion for the turbo. So the turbo can breathe, there is a new charge air system - details to the effect, there is not. The twin scroll turbocharger comes from supplier BorgWarner. Turning does the A45 AMG easily to 6200 rpm, coupled with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (control electronics are identical, as in the SLS, the tighter gear changes makes possible). It is shifted via a selector lever throttle look in the center console. Additionally receives the A of AMG its launch control button, the chassis itself is not adjustable.

The A of the body structure, AMG has no changes, but the suspension (approximately 25mm deep). Important to get the power to the road: all-wheel with Haldex clutch, otherwise would have the torque in the low gears of down. The brakes are ventilated disc brakes - all around. The axes have been trimmed for sportiness, changing camber on the front axle.

An electronic torque vectoring by braking intervention intervenes supportive, where the vehicle is usually long neurally. Standard tires: 18 inch with 235/40 Dunlop Sport Maxx), there are optional 19-inch wheels. There is also a sport exhaust system and a sporty interior (including a flattened down steering wheel). The AMG-A is a 5-seater.It was important for AMG, the car also easily incorporated into the product portfolio to which was apparently done - for this reason, the vehicle has the typical AMG look at the front grill: Twin Blade-called double-spoke with the star.
The order release we expect in April 2013 - when the jewel dealers from June 2013 stands - for well under 50,000 euros, so it was time . The CLA 45 AMG stands for in New York - and is shown in Geneva only in a preview of the press.

When you spec up an A250, the price shrinks a bit. Cant wait to take this for a drive as well!

I'll be glad if it's priced closer to $80k than $70k. Firstly it will be more exclusive and coveted. Secondly, it will make me feel happier knowing that the $$ step us was a BIG one, if I do end up in an A250. :D

Are you guys not worried about the impact this tuning will have on your warranty?

I had an idea it was going to be about the 80k mark. Nah not worried about the tuning side. If its Brabus, it shouldnt be damaging to the internals, bearing in mind Brabus are official tuners for SMART. Must say though...I dont mind the AMG grille, wonder if that will fit the non AMG models ...
