The point of a black series is to be the most extreme, best performing version of a vehicle. They've done that. It exceeds the GT R already. You're confused on naming. They've already built the car. This car is the AMG GT Black Series, it supersedes all other variants. It doesn't matter which model they used as a starting point.

That's just it, a lot of people would have suspected that the GT R was the top model, then comes the GT R Pro and now the Black Series. So we have GT, GT S, GT C, GT R, GT RP and GT BS, with BS being the best Mercedes has to offer. Oops, that came out wrong.

I don’t know prospective buyers who assumed the GT R was the final model. Mercedes certainly didn’t insinuate that. The Black Series was always expected.

No they didn't. Who? No offense but you're terminally confused. They talked about a black series years ago and the SLS before that had a black series so anyone who thought the GT R was going to be it is just clueless about this model and/or AMG.
