MERCEDES-AMG GT BLACK SERIES ARRIVES IN 2020
Mercedes-AMG is expected to open the order books for the next Black Series model: the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series - at least that is our expectation. We expect the first deliveries of customer vehicles to be made by the end of 2020.
MERCEDES-AMG GT BLACK SERIES
With the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, Mercedes-AMG probably crowns the current GT series. The top model will not only receive optimized aerodynamics, but also more horsepower than the previous GT models of the 190 series.
With the Black Series model, we not only expect a larger Panamericana grille in the series version with vertical struts drawn further down as the most striking feature of the series, but also an adjustable front splitter, integrated flics in the apron and a modified rear tail unit. A modified exhaust system will also be installed at the rear, with the rear apron optically adhering to the predecessor of the SLS AMG Black Series variant.
FOR WEIGHT REASONS WITH CARBON ROOF
For the roof, the Black Series model of the GT series is based on carbon, on the bonnet you will find two large indentations (already clearly visible on the pictures), between which there is another opening. The engine will probably offer around 700 hp from the well-known four-liter bi-turbo V8 engine.
The presentation of the model is expected in the first half of 2020 already, and the Black Series model will be significantly limited and the price is expected to be over 220,000 euros - significantly higher than the currently sold out AMG GT R PRO for 211,701.00 euros.
