It got termin8ed. It won't be back.
Not wanting to drag this off-topic but the M8 GC isThe 8-Series is BMW's prettiest car IMO. Especially with the top down.

Yes it is. I was next to a B8 Alpina in traffic a few days ago. It’s stunning in Green. Not wanting to drag this off-topic but the M8 GC isfrom a looks perspective.
I want to believe this but I’m not sure. A lot of people can’t even understand anything that isn’t SUV. It’s sickening.Of course the 8er will be back. The question is when, because it might be 20 years. Times will change and people will like big coupes again, just like fashion.
Agreed, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The proportions are just spot on.

Can you imagine, my wife’s cousin has an M8 GC. Her husband has an M5 Touring.Yes it is. I was next to a B8 Alpina in traffic a few days ago. It’s stunning in Green.

It’s actually a dilemma. You have one conceptual idea but two brands to display it. Does it become an Alpina or an M? Both the M8 and B8 proved they can co-exist, but what brand would suit it better as a completely individual concept?...although...I do wonder whether BMW AG (perhaps ALPINA) will respond to a potentially successful AMG.EA 4 door GT sedan and potentially very exciting future VAG J.2 Taycans and etron GT's. Has BMW already categorically opted to abandon that space for good ?
Just wondering.

They’re clearly struggling. I guess we’re the poor ones in the family.
Surely it would have “wings” or the hand swipe doors shown on the NEXT 100?How would you get in?
Hypothetically
I actually prefer the M850i over the M8, and it sounds better too.
Just sensational in coupe form in particular IMO:

Never been the biggest fan of the 8er GC, and prefer the shape of the 6er GC over it. Don't get me wrong though, the 8er GC is pretty. Particularly compared to the whales of today.
This is one of these cars I somehow started to really appreciate after the fact. Just look at how lean and pretty she is, and interior wise too without all the modern day buttonless BS. Big powerful engines, no electricity in sight......sigh....
Just imagine this with an NK style makeover...... Yes pls
