The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, colloquially known as the G-Wagon or G-Wagen (as an abbreviation of Geländewagen), is a four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Graz, Styria, Austria, and sold by Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed as a military off-roader, later more luxurious models were added to the line. In certain markets, it was sold under the Puch name as Puch G until 2000.

This weekend I was Knightsbridge which is G-Class and S-Class central. As I was packing up the car to leave Hyde park I was passed by two G63 within the same 60 second window. One was a matte G63 and the other a Brabus 800!
I had completely forgotten how damn good looking and unique the new G-Class is in person. It's truly a lust worthy object. Photos don't do it justices.

probably, as they'd mint money from them. Though the current G-wagen is about 4-5 inches wider than its predecessor, and that is if I remember it well off the top my head. So a 4x4^2 or a 6x6 will be super wide with all those off-road bits and gubbins. Also, I imagine this chassis is more complex than the W463 so I do wonder if there's any difficulties doing a 6x6.

Brabus actually built the last 4x4, 6x6, and Maybach on contract, so we’ll likely see them soon from Mercedes-AMG.
