I just heard that if I order a G63 now, estimated delivery would be June-July 2019 at the earliest. A bit frustrating.

There’s also going to be a significant price upgrade across the range, though I wasn’t given a official MSRP number for my spec. I anticipated that though. I’m just glad to be dealing with a factory-owned dealership, otherwise markups are going to be insane in big markets worldwide.

Are you surprised lol? You knew this would happen. It's going to be THE Mercedes to have for the next 36 months. Mercedes will keep production low to ensure they get the most money for each one. It's their license to print money. Any word on what the AMG GT reception has been like at dealers regarding customer interest?

I have accepted that I have been priced out of the AMG G63. G550 it is...Dealer said probably August for me.

Yes. The dealer is factoring in where I am on their waiting list and the seemingly inevitable port delays. I'm hoping the G550 still has a nice burly exhaust note; judging by the current models it should be fine.

Euro 56k more expensive than the G500.

I believe only the 65 AMG models are more expensive, and maybe the GT R.
