The time seems disappointing as its 2sec slower than the 80PS less powerful Z4 and Supra and only 2sec faster than the 100PS less powerful FWD Honda Civic Type R. Something seems not well maybe with the grip of the tyres fitted?

NEW PAINTS FOR COMPACT MODELS - JUPITER RED DISCONTINUED

Mercedes-Benz may soon expand the paint range for compact vehicles. For example, the CLA Coupé may optionally become available in iridium silver, and the CLA Shooting Brake in denim-blue. Completely new, however, is designo patagonia red metallic, for all A-Class variants, CLA and B-Class.

OPTIONAL: DESIGNO PATAGONIA RED METALLIC

Where there is a light, there is also a small shadow at Mercedes-Benz: in the near future, the paint jupiter red for the A-Class, B-Class and the CLA will be canceled and be replaced by the additional designo patagonia red metallic for these models. The CLA Coupé receives the optional iridium silver (775U), the CLA Shooting Brake can then - for an additional charge - also be ordered with denim blue (667U).

Interestingly, by the way: designo patagonia red metallic - but as a bright version - was planned for the first CLA Coupé models in 2014 and never arrived in the end, even though there were first (hand-painted) press vehicles with it. With designo patagonia red metallic, the designo color palette is now being expanded.

The new coatings should become available to order on 29 October 2019, and the first deliveries will then start from the beginning of December 2019.
