720S [Official] McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It is the second all-new car in the McLaren Super Series, replacing the 650S beginning in May 2017. The 720S is built on a modified carbon monocoque, which is lighter and stiffer than the previous model, the 650S.
It's one of my favourite cars to look at in real life. Those alien headlight housings shouldn't work but somehow, in the flesh, they really do. So many great details and interesting lines. McLaren did really well here...
Yes I agree, it's absolutely stunning in person. And in the showroom were parked behind it the 570S(saw one today on the road and also looks good)and the new GT, but design wise the 720S is on another level.

I saw today again 720S on the streets of Stockholm. My god this car is simply stunning in person. In the past two days I saw couple Lamborghini Huracan's, Ferrari 488's, etc. But to me 720S, I would say design wise is almost even more special. What a car!

Both Pirelli PZero

According to Brooks, the track got worse so the 720S spun the tires everytime(more power and less weight) . It did a couple of 10.0s before racing the F8.

The 720S seemed to have the measure of the F8 once rolling but struggled off the line by the looks of things.

From McLaren official Twitter : " We are at Silverstone this week for the launch of the McLaren 765LT ". So I presume we should soon get first drive reports... finally. Looking for more shots, but I tend to believe the original 720S will remain my favorite McLaren design.

I can tell you I had a chance to see them both in person in Stockholm at the McLaren showroom. 720S is really gorgeous pure elegant design. The 765LT is much more brutal and hardcore looking. The LT does look better in real life than in photos, but design wise 720S is more beautifully shaped. I love them both to be honest. Here are the pictures.

And the fully fattest 992 Turbo S.
True but there was more than 4% in it from where I was sitting. I also noticed that the Turbo S uses a 30s sport response mode. At the end of the day the real world 60-100mph time was 3.2s for the Turbo S Cabrio (say 3.1 for the hard top) and 2.6 for the 720S.

what do you mean from where you are sitting? You were driving the car?

It just looked like a lot more than 4% (the weight difference between the Cabrio and hardtop Turbo S) and 2.6s vs 3.2s for the 60-100mph is more like 19-23% for the 60-100mph.

what is your personal driving experience with exotic cars? I don’t mean that in an accusatory way, just genuinely curious. You seem to focus on minute data discrepancies that would never be apparent in real life. A Porsche and Mclaren feel very different from behind the wheel but not because of lack of acceleration for either, they’re just different. I haven’t driven a 992 TTS but will soon (I’m trying to get a dealer to get me one) and from what I hear it feels faster than pretty much anything.
