LFA [Official] Lexus LF-A Supercar (Production Version)

That LFA sounds fantastic, really amazing. At first I didn't like the looks of this car, but now I have more than warmed up to it, the best Lexus by far.

I would easily have it over the new NSX. That V10 is one of the most exciting engines to have come out of Japan.

sooooooo who wants to gift me US$270,000?

car scoops

:D

I believe, that LFA was damaged as it fell off the truck. That is why it is relatively cheap. Salomondrin's channel had a video with the owner who explained. He had indicated he might get another LFA from the insurance and get rid of this one. Looks like had it repaired and sold it. Here is the video of him explaining it

Based on the mileage and clor, I suspected that might be the weird sunglass guy's LFA that was from shown on Salomondrin's vid, but I wasn't aware that this car was damaged. That sucks.

The weird thing is in that video that you post, funky sunglassses guy (Gordon?) said he was closing in 50,000 but I couldn't tell if he said miles or km's. It's been listed with over 31,000 miles (over 50,000 km).

And EDIT: just saw the link in the article car scoops

Actually, you might be right. That LFA has red callipers while the weird sunglass dude's LFA has gold color callipers. It is a different LFA. It has a different chassis number as well. The article is wrong.

Just looked up the history of #032 LFA, it was originally used as a press car that ran a 1:36 around Laguna Seca with Randy Pobst. So it is not the same one I stand corrected.

Interesting...

By chance, is their some sort of database that lists each LFA produced and their spec?

Not that I have seen. In this particular case, the badge number has been shown in videos in press videos so that is how I figured it was the same LFA that was used by magazines.

Tons of errors in the review. He did not know/understand it has variable gear ratio steering. He called the transmission shift speed switch a brightness control for the gauge cluster.
