fun fact: i still have the Lexus LFA sound app on my new phone (transferred from my old one)
Those lucky boys, good for them! That car looks so good with the autumn leaves blowing in its grille. It's saddening there will never be a car like this.
Best thing Lexus ever made... period.
yeah I do agree, saw the latest Throttle House review and the power train is not actually perfect. If only it had a better gearbox. I know dual clutchers are heavier but there's no doubt that they work wonders with high-revving NA engines. Negligible drivetrain losses too compared to automated manuals.
DCT's have higher drivetrain losses than automated manuals. They come with an extra shaft so that's one more gear mesh point added. Automated manuals (and normal H-pattern manuals, which have pretty much identical internals) actually have the lowest drivetrain losses out of all the gearbox types. If only it had a better gearbox. Thanks, I know this.DCT's have higher drivetrain losses than automated manuals. They come with an extra shaft so that's one more gear mesh point added. Why? LC F and TTV8 so as LF-1 are definitely canceled. 2GR (NA V6) gets replaced by T24A (FI I4). Lexus enters the era of I4 turbo hybrids and BEVs, the timing is right.I’ll be shocked if that happens
Imagine driving them both and just hearing the V10 music howling behind your ears. They both are legends and probably amongst the finest sounding cars ever.I would own the LFA to drive and CGT to look at.
Both sound legendary but I love the Lexus wolf-like tone.
