SVJ had a dry weight 1525kg. In tests with full tank and fluids the weight was around 1750kg.

I think hypercars are transitioning towards becoming collectors pieces with exclusivity and customisation superseding their relative performance. The Chiron successor will be epic but as far as performance/dollar spend is concerned, it will be poor in comparison with supercars of the 90-00. Those were head and shoulders above anything in every performance metric. This is less true today when you can buy a 0-62mph 3.8sec Hyundai for $70k.

You can get a Model 3 Long Range with acceleration boost ( 3.9s ) for 50k.

But 100% agree. Cars are no longer "cars" , but collectibles...

Any car enthusiast will tell you that Huracan is 2 times better than Aventador . But the Aventador is the Gioconda...

Sport Auto weighed their SVJ at 1,781 kg. Motor Trend's was 1,770 kg. Both with full tank.
