As far as I remember Performante used a special Trofeo R so I guess they will do the same with SVJ.

Not necessarily a bad thing. The LaFerrari's V12 with electric assistance was well received, and the Aventador isn't exactly the pinnacle of driving dynamics.

True, and whether it goes with the approach that 918 employed or with how the LaFer went about it, it'll be a formidable monster.

Though, if I was a betting man, I have a feeling it'd be more like the 918 where their is a distinct electric-only propulsion so it can be driven around in city centers of London, Paris, etc. without incurring emission penalties.
