The LP640's dry weight was quoted at 1660 kg or so and in real life it was around 1800 kgs (Sport Auto: 1805 kg)...

This lambo will be pretty alone at the moment, until the new 599 or GT2

The cars are in different segments but the specs are comparable and thus we'll see head to head duels that will paint the picture of how much better the Zonda is. Having read press releases about the car's internals, there is no denying that Lamborghini are dead serious about the Aventador.

It truly is an evolution of the Murci/Reventon. The true revolution is under the skin with all-new (for Lambo anyway) chassis construction, drivetrain, and technology that's being introduced.

Truth be told every Lamborghini since the Countach is an evolution of that wedge shape.

Looks like a facelift of the Murci' rather than a brand new replacement. Nowhere near the level of change we saw from the Diablo to Murcielago. I guess this is the evolution phase, not the revolution phase when it comes to design.

The picture looks is bland but you can already say that irl this car will be the next best looker on the road.
And the colour... it will be amazing irl. What a car! I expected it to look exactly like that and knew that it would be unveiled in that colour.

and... the lambo will be about 300 000$ and the pagani almost 1M $ and it has a waaay better interior and all the electrical things are from the A8 so you can be shure they'll work, you can't be so sure with the huayra.

The rest your talking is just pure crap..go to evo.co.uk and read the long time test on the zonda.. its one of the most reliable supercars EVER..and can be serviced at a mercedes dealership.. and has huge service intervalls more like a normal car than a supercar..
And that Audi affiliation is about the biggest problem with todays lambos.. i do not like to pay 3 million kr and get A4 parts in my lambo

This car is really the C9's arch nemesis. You don't want to like it a single bit

Backing by Audi and VW is the reason Lamborghini will be able to sell a cutting edge Aventador at a third of the Zonda's price while offering very similar performance. The comparisons between the cars will be very interesting: Boutique car vs production line. Let's just hope Lamborghini have kept Audi A3 interior knobs out of this one. But the Zonda is a much more delicate piece of equipment. Everything your hands can touch is inside the cabin is exquisite. It's like comparing a Rolex to a Vacheron Constantin.
