It's pretty much like the new Aston Martin look the same as the other Aston Martin.

I love Lambo, but I am sad to say that after looking at the pictures you posted I am not too happy. I feel like I paid for a movie, kinda knowing what it was about, but hoping it would at least surprise me. It didn't surprise me.

I understand keeping the shape, but come on they can evolved this damn thing. I feel like the Reventon should have never happened because it took away from this new lambo.

And that Audi affiliation is about the biggest problem with todays lambos.. i do not like to pay 3 million kr and get A4 parts in my lambo

I'm not hating but I must agree with this statement. This is supposed to be a supercar and not a more expensive Audi. it's not like Fiat stick Fiat parts in a Ferrari.

This car is really the C9's arch nemesis. You don't want to like it a single bit

Backing by Audi and VW is the reason Lamborghini will be able to sell a cutting edge Aventador at a third of the Zonda's price while offering very similar performance. The comparisons between the cars will be very interesting: Boutique car vs production line. Let's just hope Lamborghini have kept Audi A3 interior knobs out of this one. But the Zonda is a much more delicate piece of equipment. Everything your hands can touch is inside the cabin is exquisite. It's like comparing a Rolex to a Vacheron Constantin.

I like it..it looks mad.. great..but its NOT a competition to the Huayra..

And that's the freaking 550hp Zonda C12.. No F or anything..

History will repeat it self..and that's just a drag..
Murcielago vs Zonda track times are not even comparable..
And so will be the case with Aventador vs Huayra..
And rightly so.. its a class below

the damn quattro.. lambos should be rwd..PERIOD..
Ask Valentino Balboni..who made them remake a whole Gallardo to RWD if it was to hold his name..
Atleast a damn option should be given..

And even if the Lambo doesn't put the Huayra in it's place, the VW Super Power Veyron still has the throne and will easily kill a Huayra on sight.

^ You're so right, the C9 is in a different performance league I fear. The Aventador is much close to the likes of the MP4 in performance and ability and regards of price differences I am dieing to see these two square up.

In case you didn't know this, Lamborghini were awd long before Audi bought them and I would imagine that it's will remain for the foreseeable future but I can't see them stopping to offer limited run specials with rwd so the option is available but you might have to wait a bit while before they show.

I know but back then the norm was RWD and AWD was the exception..
Today its the other way around..the whole layout of the inner workings are made for AWD.
Thus only ONE post audi RWD Lambo ( Gallardo Valentino Balboni).. Its to much work!!!

1. I talked about the huayra as in 2 new supercars with very similar specs ( engine ) has been just released.
2. If you know math you know the winner..but sure we can wait
3.The veyron cant even hold itself against a Zonda..let alone the Huayra..if we are talking laptimes..
If you want straight line racing.. the Mighty Bug is your horse.. But to me i think supercars are more than straight line races..
4. I do not mind lamborghini..i actually love them..the post audi lambos are the best lambos ever..but there are some things that bug me ( parts sharing and quattro).
5. I just want to get across the FACT that the 2 cars are not playing in the same league..
But i guess we need another top gear video for that..

That's like comparing and S-class to an Acura RL. Aventador shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as an MP4 when talking about competitors.

Artist, I was looking at one of your earlier posts and I was wondering the same thing you were when it comes to comparing these cares. Inevitably, they will be compared. However, doesn't the Zonda fall into the hypercar segment like you suggested? I'd reckon that lambo, at least the standard models, do not.

When you compare those stats alone, yeah it seems that it falls outside of that range.

Funny how different brands will make different cars with different specs as to, in a way, not directly compete with other cars.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, but based on those specs alone it seems to be in a lower league.
