Aventador [2011-2022] [Official] Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The Lamborghini Aventador is a mid-engine, two passenger sports car manufactured from 2011 until 2022. Named after a prominent Spanish fighting bull that fought in Zaragoza, Aragón, in 1993, the Aventador succeeded the Murciélago and was manufactured in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.
The laptime so far known around N ring:
Zonda F Clubsport: 7:24
Veyron: 7:40
Murcielago LP 640: 7:40

Its a pig my friend..a damn pig..haha

And?

If you define the best at everything by a track only, then you might as well apologize to every BMW fan that you talked trash to in AMG vs. M threads.

Call the Veyron what ever you want, when it comes to automotive greatness and absolute power the Bugatti destroys the Zonda's very existance.

Either way no point of discussing the Zonda or Bugatti in this thread. This is all about Lambo anyway.

^Very impressive the Veyron.. but the power it holds inside its engine fades away to the might of the VAG empire..

While the Zonda is an over achivement for a brand like Pagani..

But your right who cares this is for the new lambo..

PS;)
AMG´s and M´s arent supercars..
BMW do not make supercars..they just like to call themselfs the ultimate driving machine;).. cause they gay like that..

High resolution.

The fenders aren't exactly round, and the Murcielago looked (from this angle) a bit better because of the smooth, homogeneity of the design.

But, I'll reserve judgment until more pictures come out :t-cheers:

There it is:D

Looks wierd in someway..ile have to digest and come back..

PS
Yes Mercedes Supplies the pagani engine..but its only the engine..the rest of the car is where the magic happens..while the Veyron is all engine power and overweightness..:)

It' looks much better in real life.. One of lamborghini staff during the VIP preview mentioned that the Reventon was based on the aventador and it's not the other way round... The design was decided on before the launch of the Reventon.

I cannot understand. Why would you base a limited edition Murc on a future design? That does not make much sense to me that the people over at Lambo would do that.

That's what he said.. The car I saw was white with black interior..

Alsahher,

That is very interesting. The car you saw, you didn't snap any pictures now did you? :D

Don't you agree that it seems somewhat odd that they would preview, in a way, a future design of a car before it has even been released? So, the public is not really wowed with it?

Thanks! I look forward to more details as they surface. :t-cheers:

On another note, who else thinks that Lamborghini needs a new website rather than that old one that has around for a few years now?

They've had the same site for about ten years now.

To quote the great Chris Walken, "wowwee-wow-wow, she is tempestuous!" Yes, it's the evolutionary wedge that was inspired by the Reventon, but it just looks the part. And that part is EVIL. The only thing missing is smoke reeking of sulfur rising off the carbon-fiber body after it thundered out of Hades with Lucifer at the wheel and Cerbereus riding shotgun. I implore anyone to name me a car that has this kind of menace.

Ferraris and Porsches look innocuous and entrenched in their own heritage. I might make exception to the GT3 RS and GT2 RS though...they are manacing but nothing compared to this.
Paganis and Veyrons are meticulously crafted museum pieces that drive exceptionally well.
The McLaren is a scalpel, a precision instrument.
The LFA has an evilness to it, but that's quicly hampered by the fact that it is a Lexus (one that I personally covet though)
Astons are gentlemanly even in DBS guise.
This car has so many orifices that not only are numerous but also big in size, it's almost vulgar.

The only thing I would change is that i would make the door handle somehow flush to the body.

I gotta say that so far I'm tempted by this wicked evil and I want it.:D

Arrrgggh. I can only see the 1st pic of the side profile! The other imageshack pics aren't showing for me.

Anyhow, as for that side-profile shot... Bombastic! What a fantastic looking machine.
