The Koenigsegg One:1 was presented at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show held in March. Koenigsegg built six cars apart from the car presented at the Geneva Motor Show, all of which were already sold. Koenigsegg took two cars to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they were displayed alongside other sports cars such as the McLaren P1, LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Pagani Huayra.

1360 hp/ 1360 Kg. 1.400 Nm@6.000 r/min, 1.000 Nm available between 3.000 och 7.500 r/min. 0-400km/h in around 20 seconds, the car then braking to a stop in half that time.

Only 6 built and all of them already sold (3 to China and rest to Europe).

Well,for what it's worth,they sold all six of them...I'll reserve the final judgment till I see some reviews/test drives.Ain't giving up on it just yet

You certainly seem to hold Koenigsegg in high esteem it seems :p
(I think that's the only brand where we differ in taste a bit; as we seem to think along the same lines on other cars like the 918, the LaFer or the Huayra)


Anyway, back to 'Egg, their previous attempts (like most CC-range models) left a lot to be desired, though I also believe that from the Agera-range onwards, they really have started paying more attention to engineering, drivetrain and general design cues. This, for me, is their best attempt at making something cutting-edge thus far.
While I might not find it particularly attractive in the classical sense, I'm willing to keep an open mind about the car till I get to see some reviews and what not..

As for the driving experience, (not that I'll ever get to drive it myself anyway), while it will most definitely not have the sophistication of the 918, the LaFerrari or the P1, I do expect it to deliver some proper thrills for the lucky bunch of journalists who will get to take it for a spin...Anyway, let's wait and see, I suppose?

Can't say that I haven't noticed :LOL:
Find it a tad odd,given your apparent enthusiasm in hypercars,as well as the fact that you're Swedish.
If you don't mind me asking, is it due to the cars not being to your taste, or the reputation of previous models, or anything else even?
(But hey, at least we both seem to love the LaFer and the 918; and share the same dislike towards the P1 :p)

1. Everything they have done from start to this day is an EVOLUTION of the first damn car..
2. The first car was crap.. and they went out and said customers are like test drivers, they dont mind when it brakes down.
3. They claim figures for straight line speed and tracks.. but the car (the old one) can only do one thing..unless reconfigured by the factory.
4. They have a bad attitude.
5. The engine block is essentially a ford block ( heavily modified) but still a ford block.
6. The carbonfibre work on the car is near pathetic compared to pagani ( and yes i compare it to pagani due to the price they want for their cars)
7. I dont like Christian
8. I dont like the way the car looks.
9. It has a horrible looking interior.
10. I made up the last 7-10 just to make it 10 points of hate :D

Well,taste is subjective afterall,but let me see what I have to say about the 10 points you've made (or the first 6,at least,hehe)

1.True,but it is somewhat umderstandable,given their comparative lack of resources to The likes of Ferrari,Porsche,Bugatti and etc

with you on that one as well,looks terribly dated all of a sudden,as I also mentioned in the hypercar interior comparo thread some time ago

Yep a blut force object with huge power.. ile show you the door sills on a zonda/huayra vs the Ksegg.. and you tell me about craftmanship..this is a horrendously wide sill ( in a way it is necessary for that type of door) but its so extremely wide also due to them not being able to have enough ridigity in the chassi without it.
More or less they can not work CF like pagani does, or more right is that they ORDER their cf work off some company in england..so they don't even know how to do it.
If you have been inside a Ksegg ( i have) you will notice how cramped this makes the interior..on an otherwise tremendously wide car.

1)I tend to see it as though they follow different philosophies.Pagani goes more the Ferrari-way w/ each new model, whereas the K-segg's are more evolutionary from the first model onwards, kind of like Porsche 911. This suits them well I suppose, given their smaller budget
2)True, guess that's why they have also this factory certification program introduced, which is what Pagani was doing all along
3)OK, I respect your opinion..Think it'd be wrong to compare it to Ferrari,McLaren & Porsche in terms of handling refinement/precision though, those 3 are light years ahead of anyone in the game at this moment

As for the door sill, that'd be more of a worry for your g/f, especially when she's wearing a mini skirt :p
I am a fan of Koenigsegg's in an odd way (I think they are a bit like the Morgan of Caterham of hypercars,for people w/ an acquired yet corky taste), but IF I had to criticize them, how about the panel gaps right here?Think that's even more of a reason to criticize them really. Love them, and want to see them do well,but those gaps could make me change my mind if I were a potential customer
