There is a Zonda and Agera owner over on Lambo Power (I think he is active on other forums too but I'm not sure) and he says that though Koenigsegg's style is different, its attention to detail and "bespokeness" is right up there with Pagani.Koenigsegg is basically a tuner with a custom chassis. It's hard to regard them as highly as a bespoke manufacturer.
I don't understand all the hate behind K'egg. It's a hyper car - they're supposed to look outrageous and aggressive.
Regardless of of whether you prefer Pagani or not, Christian's story of success is also quite remarkable - you have to remember that this isn't some giant corporation that's been around for a century but a small company that's blossomed into what they are today, purely because of passion and dedication.
I agree with the perfection of the construction of agera like as Zonda. Maybe a bit less than huayra but agera is a real hypercar. I dont know if it is at the same level of LaF, P1 and 918. It is faster than huayra with a perfect use of carbon fibre. Koeniggsegg sold more than 100 cars...and this is amazing. Pagani sold not so much more cars...and bugatti with veyron?? So compliments to koenigsegg and waiting the new model (agera has the same design of cc8s...)!!!
Pagani sell so many cars! And Pagani is a myth in the car maker, with an incredible build-perfection.What? Pagani didn't sell that many cars? all 100 huayras are sold.. all paganis get sold out
and no its not even as well made as the Zonda..
If you look at this video at 7min 06sec and pause it he shows the different track laps on his phone and he opens the Nurburgring and it shows some powerlaps, if you look at Lap 9 the time is shown as 6:14.78 and lap 10 as 6:35.62, I wonder if these are real lap times achieved by this car maybe during testing. Both times will be the fastest in a road car and considerably faster than the 6:57 achieved by the Porsche 918!!!
He also mentions the torsional rigidity as been 65,000nm/deg, that is incredible!! Just think about it that is 25000nm/deg (62.5%) more than the new S-Class (40000nm/deg) and double that of the E-Class (29700nm/deg)!! Amazing stuff!!
A 6:14 lap at the Ring is not feasible. But before we start speculating, I'll believe it when I see a lap like the one Porsche published. Everything else is just speculation and proof-less to me.
And the torsional rigidity I also want to see tested. You can talk whatever you want but unless there is evidence I don't believe it.
