Though expected with all the tech, its quite messy to say the least.

Every new model ferrari has caught fire in some way or another, I'm expecting LaFerrari to be no different. The fact that it has an electric motor right next to the engine could amplify the outcome.

Fully agree, I am surprised by the very poor integration of the orange power lines and the position of what seems to be a power connector. Does not look like a mass production version.

Call me a pessimist but I'm not convinced KERS is 100% reliable in production form where it has to work day in day out 24/7, especially if the Red Bull's KERS experience is typical of the breed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the LaFerrari will enter "mass production" ;)

BTW, any nice high res (studio) pics without watermarks out there?

Like i said in the other thread..this is it..

The lafer looks exquisite so it needs light colors..to show off all the detailing..

Dark colors should be left for cars with ugly features..

If i was in the market..this is what i would order..with a red interior:)

Plus it has that Miami Vice vibe:D

Well, I revisited this car with a cooler head, and I conclude that Ferrari has out-Ferrari-ed itself again. I cannot help see the 458, especially from the sides and the front 3/4, and that is a testament of how strong a design the 458 is. This out-blings the P1, though from an engineering standpoint both cars come at it from vastly different philosophies. It will be very interesting to have the comparison tests. (We will have to wait for owners to take deliveries for LaFerrari to be available, if Enzo was an indication, as the factory probably will not make one available to the press). I bet in several instances Ferrari and P1 will find the same home. I know Leno will get the P1 and probably won't even want to sniff at the Ferrari, while the mean guy from American idol likely will get the prancing horse. After 7 years, the Bugatti has been outshined in a major way. With all the torque of these two (P1, LaF) we are likely to see better acceleration times as well.

By the way, it will be interesting to see how fast LaFerrari will lap around Fiorano, as it will become the measuring stick for years to come. The 430 Scuderia matched Enzo's lap time and every subsequent new and modified Ferrari (save for the California) beat it. Which will be the first new Ferrari to beat this one?

You mean you'll give him a solid ;)

ON: Yes the engine bay is too messy! If this thing doesn't catch fire... then Ferrari guys surely have a strong connection with God!

really? We're complaining about a messy engine bay? Granted, I did complain about the ridiculous name (it's so silly.) But I am happy to see there's something going instead of a giant piece of plastic covering the thing!

Seriously, it's a non-issue. 'Experts' from their comfy chairs commenting on stuff they know nothing about.
