488 [2015-2019] [Official] Ferrari 488 Pista

The Ferrari 488 (Type F142M) is a mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The car replaced the 458, being the first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 since the F40. It was succeeded by the Ferrari F8.
To add, Pista test with ambient temp of 12 degres celsius and 34 degres track temp

720s with ambient temp of 27 degres celsius and 41 degres tracktemp

quit big difference between 12 degres and 27 degres for an engine to perform under full load

Screens about accelerations. In same points.

Next two supertest laptimes, which I eagerly await are:
  • McLaren Senna
  • McLaren 750LT
Both cars are candidates for the throne.
Both cars would challenge C. Gebhardts skills to the extreme.
Will we see such supertests?

Hopefully yes, McLaren are not, like some other manufacteurs, afraid to let magazines test their cars.

AutoZeitung tested the Pista recently. It did 0-100 kph in 2.7 seconds and 0-200 kph in 7.4 seconds. That’s essentially dead on what the American mags are getting. Wickedly quick.

Almost 720S pace, just behind it.

This is the best I’ve seen a Pista run. I think AZ tested the 720S at 2.7 s to 100 kph and 7.2 s to 200 kph. Or there abouts. Best times of the 720S in a magazine I think are in Quattroruote. The DA must have been very good that day.

Well the Pista has a mega fast top speed, 342kmh (212mph)!!

But its still slower than the 720S which achieved nearly 348km/h (216mph) with the same driver a year ago.
