^Gourgeous, absolutely gorgeous...This has to be one of those few occasions where I'd genuinely prefer the convertible version over the coupe (and I'm not the biggest fan of the "compromised" look of convertible cars)

Well, that's the beauty of these forums...We can all disclose our differing opinions without making it turn ugly, and I love the fact that we all have our differences in taste.

One thing which I'm sure you'd agree on though, is that both of these cars are complete technological and performance tour de forces, each in their own right; Ferrari with its elegance and Italian flar, went & passion, and the McLaren with its cutting edge approach, aggression and modernity.

Everything aside, even though I'd prefer the 720S over the 488, I absolutely LOVE the 488, no question about that.

P.S. I was worried about the front of the 720S before seeing it in flesh, but now that I did get to see it up close, in my opinion, it looks a damn sight better in real life than it does in pictures

There's a rosso Corsa 488 in my parking garage I see often and it just doesn't have the wow factor the 458 had a few years ago. Looks nice, but the overall shape is almost 8 years old now.

Nevertheless, I watched and read a number of reviews stating it's the best road Ferrari ever from a dynamic standpoint. Imo, had the J50 or something similar been the 488, it would've been another story for the segment.
