Z Series [Official] E89 BMW Z4

The BMW Z models are a line of roadsters manufactured by German automaker BMW. The Z stands for Zukunft (German for future), and has been produced in four different series with six generations consisting of roadster, coupé, sports car, and concept variants. The introduction of the M Coupé and M Roadster in the Z3 line marked the first of the Z series to have a high-performance BMW M variant. The first generation Z4 also continued to offer M Coupé and M Roadster variants. The current Z4 (G29) uses BMW's (B58B30) inline-six, its platform is the basis for the current Toyota Supra.
Re: Very, Very nice

Great looking car. Interior is just great, exterior the lines looks great.
But, i think the headlights is kinda inspired by the E90/E87? not that it is a problem but i'd thought they would depart from these kinda design and opting for smoother shapes, and the headlights reminds me of the CL, not a problem too, the thing looks great. The rear in some side angles look 90% 6series. Nothing to complain about if we think of other car makes where the whole car looks 99% the other, but this is the first time since the E46/E39/E38 age that there are some obvious similarities between models, which makes me think whether the next 6 will be something like this as well??

Better pictures = better impression. The car looks pretty darn fine!

I'm in my bed and have the flu. I've been puking all night so its nice to be positive reacted to the new Z4. I really like it :usa7uh:

How much does the car weigh?

and now imagine:

i35, 7speed Double-clutch, extended leather, M-Package...

and as the V8 is not available: the Alpina-Version 360HP, 500NM torque (which I hope will come soon), 1600kg...

and all this at a (IMO) reasonable price !

Isn't that a dreamcar?

I'll get one - or still the M3 Convertible?... I wounder :eusa_danc

Love it!!! It's so gorgeous!! But nothing beats the blue roadster!

Guys, can anybody post this pic in a proper resolution and without the bmwblog logo? I want it to be my new wallpaper. This pic:

I wonder why BMW didn't put this much effort in when designing the lacklustre F01. The Z4 is once again the symbol of BMW's design department.

They are still sticking to ying-yang / sporty-luxury / exciting-restrained / positive pole-negative pole design philosophy.

That's why some models will be "bland" compared to the others withing the same product line.

I´m with Centurion, having seen this, I can only hope the new F10 5er is closer to Z4 than to F01.
