Dry weight, sadly, and that's the dry weight with carbon wheels and the C07 package. Which means real weight of about 1680kg and 1700kg without the carbon wheels. Which is a bit disappointing, if in line with the C7 generation where the Z06 also ended up heavier than the standard model. Actually, from a roll, the C7 Z06 might be faster - since it's 100kg lighter and with only 20hp less. But regardless, the car having a 5.5L NA V8 engine renders most performance stats rather moot. Just the weight being so high is a shame - and still pretty inexplicable to my eyes. That’s excellent if a curb weight.
Agreed. This will be one, if not the very last supercar with an NA engine. Basically a classic in the making.to be sincere? not the best looking one in the category for sure, but the one to buy...That sound, that engine...that price...That angry look in the Z07 version. I am sold
Given the expected price of this vehicle I wouldn't just say that this for me is the best car of the 21st century... I'd go a century back.

Yes, exactly. It's expected to be well-priced at US$85-95K.
What's 600k? You mean the 458 Speciale? That's seems to be more in the $300-400k range at the moment. But regardless, I think it's a bit premature to compare the Z06 to that car. For one, the Speciale weighed like 1450kg, this is 1700kg. And the Speciale also wasn't hilariously overtired and grip obsessed - it had 245s at the front and 305s at the rear. The Z06 has 275/345s. I doubt the driving experience is gonna be anything alike. Besides, you can buy a lots of used mid-engined supercars with great NA engines any time you want, some of them even with manuals. What exactly is putting the Z06 above all of those?Yes, exactly.
Pennies compared to 600k.
The Speciale Aperta is now selling for over 600k. It is a more direct comparison since you can take the top off on the Z06 Coupe. But let's go with 400k vs 90k.What's 600k? You mean the 458 Speciale? Depends. There tends to be more reliably linear power delivery with NA engines, and in this case, with a freer, higher-revving engine, it also is aurally pleasing.Like , is it a good thing to be NA?
Isn't it like....decades old useless massive engine ?
What's with all this "the most powerful V8 NA engine" PR thing?
