Erm.......When I compare the two options....kinda glad the "morality police" are losing then

It's a world of gross and unconscionable inequality so let's leave this discussion right here and right now at the risk of delving into socio-economic and political debate which is not permitted on this site.

So let's not delve into the philosophical here and, instead, just admire the VeyChiron for what it is - an extreme expression and undertaking of human endeavour.

Us car enthusiasts and I am sure most young boys that put up posters of sport cars on their walls, certainly congratulate Bugatti for been able to bring out a dream car like this that sets new boundaries in speed, technology, engineering and design. This car has certain unique features that raise it to another level above most supercars and give it huge bragging rites. The massive 8.0ltr W16 engine is one of them and also that it has a massive 1500PS of power and is one of a handful of cars capable of over 400km/h.

You make me wonder ......as good as this car is, surely the LaFerrari is more technically revolutionary overall.

Not sure if you guys can see this, but if you look really closely the car in the photos has a full carbon fiber body.

Isn't that the blue carbon? Pagani has all these cool carbon exterior colors too. I like.

Not sure, maybe it is the reflection from the blue sky, as far as I can tell, the press photos also shows one Chiron in black carbon fiber body.

Then your analogy is invalid, Porsche stands for great sports cars, a new 911 can affroad to be a slightly different version of the previous one as long as it's still a great driving machine. A new Bugatti on the other hand must be a bombastic event of an incredible magnitude. The Veyron did that because of the raw numbers and some tech (Tyres, gearbox), and also because there was absolutely no car in the world that was evolving in the same performance dimension. The Chiron on the other hand has more competition, it's a great car but it doesn't have the edge the Veyron had.

A Porsche is a car; a Bugatti is a car. There's nothing more to it than that. Your interpretation of what is valid or invalid is entirely your own and you're reading way too much into this whilst missing the point entirely.

Of course it's my own, maybe i am missing your point but certainly not mine which you replied to in the first place.

Is this true btw? If so, it was all way too quick

Chiron Sold Out, Bugatti Will Focus on the Next Projects

It seems that Bugatti wraps a loss of money on pricey hypercars up. Chiron, unveiled at Geneva Motors and boasted to be completely sold out, appears to pull the plug. According to the words of Wolfgang Durheimer, the Bugatti CEO, announced a company’s new flash mind-boggling project in the nearest future.

Another endeavor is considered to be heavily associated with financial losses of the French carmaker. For each and every Veyron hypercar sold, the company’s heart-stopping losses, roughly estimated, have been equaled around $6 million keeping in mind the base eye-watering model price of $2.6 million and 500 units.

As a result, the company would save the money for the next ambitious concept. Would it be a fully-electric project or a fabulous SUV? That remains to be seen. Durheimer hints at a 4-door limousine meaningfully.
