Not bad at all imo. But I've never been a fan of the current front so..
I think if they were say an inch or two wider, the front would look more proportionalIMO the big kidney grilles are very good looking on the X7.
It looks as if there a couple of inches added on to each side. Maybe as wide as the XM?I think if they were say an inch or two wider, the front would look more proportional
Officially 7 presented first. Followed by X7.Serious question, being similar the new approaches of the fronts of the X7 - XM - 7 series, which are coming, would it be rational to think that the 7 series should be the one presented first, so as not to kill the novelty?
This particular prototype is the LCI X7 M50i which will have the newly developed (by BMW-M NOT BMW AG) S68 V8 engine. This engine will replace the current N63 V8 engine and will also appear in the LCI X5/X6 M50i, the G70 750iX, the new BMW XM and next generation M5. BMW decided to take the same route as Mercedes where AMG was in charge of developing all variants of Mercedes current V8 engine.
So the N63 is the last BMW AG V8, then. One for the history books. Maybe one more year and then every N63 is replaced by S68. Sounds exciting not gonna lie.
N63 will live on in the new Range Rover, lol

The first new era GKL car will be 8/M8 in LCI.

I think from what the prototypes showcase is that is a no. But they could be split similar like X3 and X4 LCI?8 LCI will have the double lights too?
Despite future versions being more reliable, I’m not sure the history books will treat the N63 favorably. The first generation N63 was just embarrassing from a reliability standpoint.
Hmmm, interesting. So the new M5 will remain using a V8. I thought the last ICE M5 would have an I6 instead.
Any info on which BMW will be the last one using a V8? G60 5er of next X5/X6 perhaps?
The LCI on the 8er will be more like an "LCI-lite" and unfortunately will not initially come with the new S68 engine. It's possible the 8er might receive the new S68 engine one model year after the LCI-lite . The first BMW to receive the new S68 engine will be the G70 750iX. Expect to see the LCI-lite 8er early next year (Q1 of 2022)Favorably or not, it'll go down in history as the last BMW AG V8, and that's something very special indeed.
Will the LCI of the 8er come with the S68 too?
