Sure the pre-facelift looks meaner but the facelift also looks futuristic and the lights that bmw has had since 2018

^Absolutely no need for posting those stupid renders when the real car actually looks great.

Also no need for them if the car looked horrible.

Anyways, from that low res leak, you can see the layers of the design; the top half of the hood with the thin lights looks like a shelf on top of the bumper (you can see that on the right), which is a really cool idea. And the main headlight units are regressed a bit and the bumper is sticking out around it. That will as well look nice and modern.

Overall, when the high res pics from more angles come to the internet, more people will like the facelift compared to the pre facelift, is my guess.

If you go by a "need" basis, there is no actual need for most unsubstantiated comments such as "it looks good", "it looks bad", "I like it", etc., which are just about spontaneous self-gratification and don't bring anything relevant to the table.

We're done with the joke, that's all. No need to feel sad about it or twist it around.

Any grille smaller than what the behemoth X7 has would be the joke.

No need to get offended, i've just stated my opinion and while we're on it, if funny pics are really needed they should be related to new headlights, not the grille.

But anyway, idgaf, i'll continue to like this facelift... :)

This looks great.

My only concern: How will the lights look when they will all be on? I'm afraid it might look a little clogged

Back in the '90s fog lights were optional on most cars, and I always thought it looked awesome to see quad headlights stacked at night when people had them on to show them off even though it was illegal to use without fog.

For me the effect will be similar most likely.

As much as I like the pre LCI model, this split light LCI actually suits the X7 very well and better than I expected. BMW have been quite clever by disguising the lower lights behind a black glass panel. It gives the impression the car has one slim main unit.
