I've seen a few on the road already. The X5's rear was just as disappointing in the rear in person as I originally thought, while the X7 exceeded my expectations.
Cant wait to see this car in the metal, because it screams expensive in the pictures
IMO both cars look completely different from the outside. I am sure that even LaArtist from his pilot cabin high in the skys (11 000 m) could tell them apart. The shape of the X5 is infinitely better, imho
X7 has an ungainly profile. But I happen to love the new X5 so I am biased.
It screams strechted X5, actually. With copy and paste interior, even.
They keep on saying this car isn't meant for The USA and China but orders in mainland Europe and Russia are very high also.
Have to disagree, the X5 looks great, but the X7 looks even better especially from the front. Apart from the interior they have completely different exteriors, but instantly recognizable as BMW X models. The shape of the X5 is infinitely better, imho

It's clear where the X7 comes from. Just like you can tell an X6 is an X5, or a 3er Touring a 3er.
The Lexus has a very high front which gives the impression it is huge but in real life it is still small compared to other American utes such as the Expedition and Suburban, which are massive vehicles. The Lexus is huge makes the X7 look like its an X5 size wise.
