I reached out to a contact in Munich and got the information who told me the update both here for Shanghai and Geneva where the mentioned the first news of the Touring 530/330e models.
And the NDA models for Geneva.

It was also known that the 330e and X545e did not debut at Paris or LA respectively even though they were announced prior to those events.
With no NAIAS. Geneva was the logical choice to reveal the cars.

As also per OICA Mercedes will unveil the A45 AMG @ Geneva Mercedes fans.

At Bimmerpost they were able to find two pages on Bmwusa.com with the presentation of both models, a few pictures leaked (very very awesome and gorgeous)from that, before bmwusa removed the links . So 473hp for standard models and 503hp for the competition ones. The cars are just beautiful.

I clicked on the "Future of BMW AG" thread first and stumbled on the discussion regarding the X3 M and X4 M and my initial thoughts were, "Man, who cares? I am so over the whole performance SUV." Then clicked on this thread and saw the leaked pics, and I was like, "Man, that looks good." Being this fickle gives my neck whiplash.

But, of course, "The first ever X3 M...." I mean, they are not wrong with that declaration, but it does get grating.
