M3/M4 [Official] BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
Wow. It truly looks like a concept car on the streets. That colour is an absolute must.

My god amazing.

I only miss the M3 style flared fenders.

I think they are still there though the 4 series shape seems to mask them a little.

The colour does look striking but I reckon its desirability lifespan will be short lived.

They are there, bt not like the 1M or new M3. It's subtle on M4, but it's just as wide.

The 4er is wider than the actual 3er but when you add in the wider track of the M. There is not much to add to the M4 but you have to expand the arches in order for the M3.

Normally I don't get stoked over obnoxious colours but phoenix yellow is a bit of a living classic thanks to the E46 M3 which still looks good in it today. The 1M has valencia Orange to flaunt but the colour isn't as flattering on larger cars, so it's nice for the M4 to have a special colour of its own.

I hated Phoenix Yellow liking it to the colour of bile when viewed in person. I actually like Valencia Orange having seen it in an M6 so maybe these colours are like marmite polarising opinion.

Are you sure that wasn't Sakhir Orange, a standard colour on the M6 rather than "Valencia"which isn't. They're quite different in real life. "Valencia"has a lighter hue to it whereas "Sakhir" is a deeper, more reddish colour.

It was at the dealers and caught my eye, it was the salesman who said it was the same colour as the 1M Coupe but he might have been wrong like when was the last time a sales person knew anything about the product they're selling. LOL

Yep! 99.9% chance the salesman didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

Highly likely it was just Sakhir Orange.

If you see any M Sport package 1 Series driving around that are orange, than that is very likely to be Valencia Orange.

Back to the topic.

I must say, the real life photos are usually better than official BMW photos every single time, but in this case I'm not so sure. That Austin Yellow doesn't look as good in the real life shots. Also, the bonnet shut lines have never really been an issue for me with the latest BMW's, but it really does stand out a mile on those photos.

I still cannot wait to see this car in the metal though.

It can understand that it's not for everyone, and to be honest I only love it on the M3 because of it's legendary status and wouldn't want to see it on a car that's not a bimmer.

I love those real life shots..it looks like a concept..so far ahead of the surroundings..

The new M3/4 will be amazing.
Less weight will compensate the missing power to the competition.

No LED tail lights is pretty sad.
I hope LCI will fix that.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
