Never thought I'd find gold wheels appealing outside of a WRX, Ferrari, or McLaren F1.

Looking at that project it's a missed opportunity from BMW M.
How would this work insurance wise and warranty? It seems to have been fabricated from a crashed vehicle?

And it simply is a big shame BMW doesn't make these themselves. No excuse. This F81 M3 looks far and away superior to any RS4 or C63 Estate. Freaking bean counters.

It's not a crashed vehicle. And warranty and stuff probably doesn't matter, it's not his daily drive. His daily is this 330d Touring:

Went along with my friend to help negotiate this fully optioned and probably the most expensive M3 Competition in Australia....BMW Individual paint in Porsche Miami Blue, with matching interior stitching, full carbon fiber exterior and interior trim, M performance exhaust. Strangely, this blue actually looks so much better on the M3 than on the 991.

BMW doesn't do this afaik. Very strange indeed. Porsche neither btw.
