Awesome!!! This alone sets it apart from the C and A4 (A4 is not hard). Beautiful exterior. Nice new backlights, sculpted hood, LED frontlights, bumpers, grille.....very very nicely done

Now we have to see the interior to see what's new and changed! Can't wait to see the new iDrive in the 3er.....things like this make the difference with the competition again

Much MUCH better!!! I'm still not sold on the rear but the front is a million times better than before IMO (obviously) and that is more because of them losing that ugly mustache on the kidney grill. Even the bulges/creases on the hood make it more sporty than before.

Nice-looking! But I don't find the rear lights really good, better than before of course but still not really convincing.

It's a very welcomed, and nicely made FL. Should be even better in M-Package!

The problem is not in rearlight cluster design but in entire rear design: it's too high, too bulky, too angular. It looks clumsy & not classy enough.

The facelifted 3series looks absolutely gorgeous! It has a much more sporty and muscular appearance. Thank God they got rid of those hideous japanese looking tail lights.

Very glad to see it ending up like this, it looks great. I think what the problem might be is the grille looks a bit too smooth for the lights, it's like you have old lights and new everything but then with the LED lights and everything it should be ok in real life.
The E90 is, like the E46 and E36, has the best shape and lines of its time, and with this new refreshed look I reckon it looks 'newer' than the Cclass or even A4.
The new trunk rear light bit, well, what I hoped for is X6-style curve instead of a straight cut, but perhaps that's over the top for a E90.

Ant the new one ---> 320d xDrive

DKG....finally for the standard bimmers as well!

Will standard DCT replace the 6-speed automatic with steptronic? And how many gears for standard DCT? 7?

In 'AutoBild' as well as in 'Auto Motor und Sport' it says that the new Navi System in the 3 LCI will have a 80 (!) GB harddisk drive.....strange, because the F01 has (only ) a 40 GB disk (according to BMW press release).....

Maybe the 80 GB info is wrong

Sorry, but some of you sound like a spoiled rich adolescent bitches.

IMO such comments only hamper your reputation on the board Tine. As much as your 'inside info' is valued on this forum I think there are more respectful ways to get the message across.

Lets not forget that there have also been several instances where you and the creative marketing team have been wrong or misguided the board members, and, as frustrating as it may have been for some of us I don't recall anyone of us turning back at you guys and calling you adolescent bitches?

Also bear in mind that not every BMW fan is a victim of blind faith. If something doesn't look right to someone, it will be criticized (everyone can never be pleased). I understand that you also share a strong bond with BMW and it does suck when people criticize something which you may have spent alot of effort on, but I think its in everybody's best interests if we all communicate with one another in a respectful and civilized way.

Ok - so it's a facelift for the E90. I'm not convinced in any way that any of the changes are a tangible improvement over the pre-facelift. I have no reaction to this change whatsover. Ho hum.

Oh wait, did I say that I now hate the tail-lights? While I'm at it - from front-on the shutline traced between the bonnet and the fender / headlights / front grill looks like the flight path of a stoned fruit fly.
