Mulsanne [Official] Bentley Mulsanne

Everytime I see a photo of this car I want it even more.

And to think this is just the SWB. I guess they will bring the LWB to Frankfurt.

Yes it is hard to believe, but they actually did it.....a proper replacement for the Arnage. I can't tell you how worried I was that we'd get a oversize Flying Brick. They walked a very fine line between connecting with the older set/model that liked the Arnage and the new money. The Brooklands replacement I'm not worried about now. Ditto for the Azure.

HOH, I remember reading recently that the head of Bentkey stated that they are sticking with only one wheelbase in order to keep development costs down. I'll try to find the article to substantiate that claim tomorrow.

OK, seriously, we need some official pics of the interior. This is ridiculous! I'm really curious to see what Mulliner has in store.

EDIT: Here's the article. Also, it wasn't the head of Bentley who said anything about there being no LWB model. http://www.worldcarfans.com/109070720308/grand-bentley-leaked-info-an-images

You talk like that's a bad thing. ;)

Not so. What i meant was, Jaguar used to produce classic looking, very stylish cars. Aston Martin, IMO, produces one of the most beautiful cars in the world, but the way Jag has been doing, it's like they're producing cheaper versions of Aston Martins.

Haven't many of you said "a good design does not need an explanation" ?

You can even interpret "crap" - I mean there is no limit to do such things. Maybe they thing, that this brings the car closer to the customer…that he can get a feeling, why the car looks like this! :t-crazy2: Never really make sure what these designers said, and why the car looks like it was designed - well it is interesting, but in the end only important is, if I like it or not. :D

It's a nice video though, because it shows great details…

This car is stunningly beautiful. The aluminium work is of world class and on a par with the Aston Martin One-77's immaculately pieced together body panels. I've fully come to terms with the side projectiles, the whole front end makes sense now.

I must admit this color & finish do reflect the light exceptionally well ...

It does - will be interesting how the Mulsanne will look light in different colours and rims, and if it still has the "presence" like the chasis number 001!

Much better. Is there a chop with out the second set of lights - might be even better? What I hate most about the second set of lights is it is completely in a random position. Neither the centerline nor the lower eges align with the main lights. It is almost as if they snuck in it in some where in the last min.

Dude, Jag haven't truly designed a "Classic" for decades. The damn XJ took FOREVER to get redesigned. The only reason people are complaining about it is because there hasn't been a serious redesign of the XJ for literally decades, but now it's finally been redesigned and some of the folks who never bought a Jag in the first place are complaining, yet the people who actually purchased a jag and MANY who are serious about it are actually excited. :t-cheers:

Yes, it does look rather Plain compared to the loads of wood that the Arnage had.

Love how powerful it looked when it drove up. Outstanding road presence!
