TT Official: Audi TT-RS

For some reason the spoiler does not look out of place on the coupe. On the roadster though.... :eusa_doh:
 
The coupe looks fine, the roadster looks riced up. And I hope they price it competitively here in the US especially if it has just 340HP, when the normal Z4 is going to have 326HP.

2.5TFSI , 340hp, 0-100 4.5 seconds!

Remember its a RS. Not a normal TT. Remember there is a TT-S with 272 hp, thats the true competitior to Z4. Not a RS. Z4 looks better than the TT but that's about it. In Sweden TT-S and Z4 35i has almost the same price.

Lada Riva looks better than the Z4.

Remember that looks are subjective, personal opinion, nothing more than that.

This RS will be a monster to modify! 2.0 tfsi/tsi remaps to 360hp with uprated fuel pump, dv, exhaust and air intake! So if the 2.5 tsi is anything like it.....
 
You forgot to add IMO(IYO), cause that's a huge difference ;)

is it really necessary? after all this years we all know its IMO, even your opinion is "imo". But I know you think the same as me regarding Z4 but of course you cant admit it ;) :D

The Z4 is a good looking car, I admit. But it doesn't touch the Mk II TT. Especially not the TT-S and now the killer TT-RS. Neither in looks, handling, and power.

And you know that cause they both been tested? Yes, my money is on a 340HP TT RS being faster than a 326HP Z4, question is by how much and at what cost - which is what I was alluding to.

TT-RS is going to have real LSD which the Z4 lack. Around the track TT-RS will beat the Z4 but I think it will be closer against the TT-S.
I don't think you can compare a non M version with RS.

TT-S cost the same as Z4 Sdrive35i in Sweden. TT-RS is going to be a lot more expensive than the Z4.

I also like the TT but only until I see the rear. Z4 and TT are the best looking little roadsters on the market today. SLK , I dont like at all, very girly car.
 
Any word why the new V6 kompressor is not used here instead of the turboed 5?
 
The standard TT is not a pretty car by any means but this is starting to look like what the TT should have looked like from the beginning. This goes for the coupé, the roadster simply does not work with that wing, looks like somehting from TFTF.

I wonder how much lighter the car is than the TT-S.

Regarding any comparison to the Z4; those comparisons are hard to do since BMW does not (yet) make a competitior to the TT-RS. Let's hope there is some sort of change to that sooner than later. I mean, Audi can't be the only german brand to offer small hardcore versions of normal models. Nah, that will not happen, M division is too busy building a "true drivers car" out of the 2 ton BMW 5-series GT.

Good going Audi, nice to see that at least one manufacturer keeps up the good work! Make it RWD the next time ;-)

Hahahaha!!!! LOL!

I'll wait for the new Z4 M coupe then, if you start to compare those.
