The usability and comfort of the RS6 remains excellent and one of the key selling points.Biggest dissapointment. Such a nice looking cars, both the RS6 and RS7. Sadly totally behind their competition performance wise.
And the style too. E63 and M5 don't look like a "roided out performance car" like the RS 6 does imo.The usability and comfort of the RS6 remains excellent and one of the key selling points.
Maybe the reason is to give the Cayenne Turbo GT and Urus breathing space? It's interesting why VAG is keeping the RS6 a bit restrained.
It's interesting why VAG is keeping the RS6 a bit restrained. The V8 can be much punchier as the version in the URUS keeps showing - the URUS is easily outperforming the X5 M, which has the same engine as the M5.
I do agree about the RS 6 having a restrained engine. The RS 6 GT is supposed to have around ~700hp from what we've heard.
Very concerned for the RS 7 Avant if it switched to a V6 PHEV combo. Somehow going to be heavier I bet, without meaningful power gains. Might be a case like the C63, where's it's better to just stick with the RS 6 E-Tron Avant.
Just got around to watching this.

DAMN, the RS 6 launches so aggressively now with the Performance Package. Can't hold up to the M5's never ending top-end performance though of course.

It doesn't matter much, because both - the M5 and the E AMG 63 are not available on the market in this generation anymore. AUDI will have a comfortable year or so of being the only one on the market. It's two lighter sedans v a heavier estate. Would have been interesting if they had used the RS7 presumably lighter than the RS6 Avant, or M5 and E63 Touring models.
