It needs to sink in.

More eye-appealing than the stunning Taycan ? I really couldn't say at this point.

I think the design is a great success, it maintains all the AUDI identity, and it is beautiful, desirable, groundbreaking, modern, elegant and sporty all together, a real achievement.

It does look pretty wild in red. Good choice of presentation cars. Elegance as well as flamboyance represented.

Love the exterior - quintessential GT. Think will look more stunning on the road than the Taycan.
Interior is a clusterf#ck. Jagged lines and shapes everywhere that will give you a million cuts if you touch it the wrong way. But glad it doesn't use a stupid dedicated screen for hvac like the Taycan.

Man the exterior is great, interior is a horrible show no coherence anywhere.. it’s like someone insane designed it.

this car needs to be a good 20k less than the Taycan for most to consider.
Any word on pricing ?

This car looks so overstyled inside and out next to the Taycan. I know which one I prefer. Audi styling needs to evolve in a different direction in my opinion.
Are you not feeling the Shakira hips?

I think all round I prefer the exterior of the Taycan, I still don't like it's front lights at all, but it looks more cohesive than the e-tron GT overall, and while the Taycan perhaps lacks some of the aggression of the GT's styling they both carry a suitably 'planted' stance.

I think I actually prefer the Audi's interior. I can see why some say it's messy, but aside from the instrument cluster the Taycan's interior just looks a bit crap.

I really like it inside and out..really no chance for “i” crap from bmw or EQ. But there are some details that bothers me. Audi had some of the most innovative interior solutions..clean and modern, without overdoing it with screens. Take a look at the TT’s and R8 air conditioning knobs. Work of art, simple yet stunning. And why on earth a company that designed that, veers to something so messy..leave this to lambos. Its not bad, but I know it could’ve been much better.

The exterior gives me an impression of how an artist would render a bit wilder next gen A7, but the rear bulges give a bit less of the fastback look.

Something I've noticed which I'm not liking much at the moment (maybe I'll change my mind if I see it in real life) is the taillights, which are a tiny bit thicker than they should, compared to the sleek profile of the car.

For the interior, it's a little messy due to the multi layering, but also flamboyant compared to the usual business style of the rest of their cars. I don't like the low position of the vents.

Overall, I like what I'm seeing, so far. It looks special on the road, given the low and wide stance, and it doesn't have the traditional 3 box proportions.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
