A7/S7/RS7 Official: Audi A7

I also think it reminds me more of a 5GT rival, than a 4-Door Coupe.

And Designers have to remember why Hatchbacks went out of "style" in the 80's, hideous.

I think the exterior looks too much like a Concept Car for some reason, and actually think for an Audi, it does look pretty avant-garde, which in this case isn't doing it many favors. Also that rear is just bad, saggy, like it wants to take a dump.

Also, the interior looks way too avant-garde/Concept-Car/"futuristic" trying, doesn't seem Luxurious or cozy at all either.

Well.......think again. Comparing this to the 5er GT is like comparing an SLK with a GLK. Yeah, it's both three letters so it must be similar....

i think it actually looks quite good, especially the execution of the exhausts!

Don't like it.

Anyone else getting Lamborghini Estoque vibes from the sideview of the rear?

Obviously, nowhere near as good looking.

I like. It reminds me a lot of the Panamera, which is a good thing.

The only complain I have is the pop-up screen. In the A8, it looks fine, here it looks weird and out of place.

Hard to get excited about the current Audi design language, and there are a handful of other cars that now exceed Audi's interior quality. I'm particularly unimpressed with what appears to be a large slab of plastic on the dash. I would have expected leather.

i love the back of this car it so hot. i hope they intorduce the s7 as well love to see the new grill intagrated with this design. i wont make anymore judgements untill i see more pics though

I don't understand why people are saying this isn't a four-door coupe. Considering the definition is so vague in the first place, applying to anything from a Rapide to an RX-8, surely any four-door car with a low roofline should be tagged as a 'four-door coupe'.

I would have to agree with most of you.. Don't like it. I don't like the panamera, and every time I would see an A7 I would be thinking, oh look, it is the cheaper version of that other ugly car. CLS looks much better

I like it! The front is great and for some reason, the interior looks good too. The only part that will take some time getting used to is the rear. Very old-school design there and quite far from the four door coupes we are starting to see more and more of.

Am I the only one who likes it? it's absolutely beautiful, and that rear is just amazing(very old but beautiful design). The interior on the other hand is just horrible, and I think that there will be no comparison between this interior and that of the new CLS.

Getting uglier every time I see it. The side profile sucks so much, I can't believe it.

Also, the interior features A LOT of plastic. Not at all what I would expect from an Audi.

It reminds me of the C1 Audi 100 Coupé.

If you ask me, I welcome the return of the fastback shape, in my opinion they're almost always better-looking than conventional sedans.

I suppose one could say Audi are re-introducing a heritage design element to their 4 door coupe as oppose to introducing something completely new. This explains their decision to go with this design - having now seen this pic everything makes much more sense.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
