To me an RS Audi is the perfect balance between performance and practicality, steering feel isn't going to make it corner any harder but having too much of it definitely becomes tiring on poor surfaces. All I want from a road car is precise direct steering with little play which is what Audi give you, some might want more but that's their problem.

It isn't their problem, it is their PREFERENCE.

@Tumbo: I did 305 km/h with three friends in a V10 RS6 (standard) a couple of months ago :D Seriously insane. My friends sat there chatting on the backseat as if I were driving 120 km/h. It all felt so secure and tight. Well done.

Wow! 309 km/h is insanely fast in such a big cow! :)

This, the RS6, the M5/6, the big AMGs all share this incredible ability to put insane speeds. I have to say that given the choice between doing these speeds in either one of these big cars or a light weight sportscar I'd pick the big beast every time.

Was that in the Netherlands?

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
