Even if he were a gap of 5 seconds clearly shows it's in a different league to the others.

I think, that Volvo can competes with the M5 and RS6.

I don't believe it can, at least not in a straight line acceleration race but on the track it will probably destroy either of them. But this is all theoretical because this S60 isn't a production ready car, it's suspension is probably way too firm for 95% of it's potential customers.

True, but what happens, if the RS4 and M3 get same power and turboengines. I can only imagine how fast the RS4 will be then. F**k the Audi, why they don't build a RS4 Sedan. Hope so the next gen RS4 is Sedan, and it use turbo.

^That was hinted to me yesterday. Hope it's true because it's an appealing looking car and will offer a great alternative to those who need 4 doors but dislike the idea of owning an estate.

Tumbo, yes I know. But it's kind of stupid the RS5 replace RS4 Sedan. Soon the BMW 4-series comes, then the RS5 competes with M4.

Today, TVN Turbo Poland had a test of the RS4 B8 Avant, the day after it was chosen the "car of the year 2012". And they also compared it to one of my biggest dream cars, the RS4 B5 Avant. And at the end of the test, they did a street race. And I magine that, the RS4 B8 caught up with the B5 first in about 180-200km/h. And it was mostly cause of the S-tronic box, cause you could see where the driver (which was btw a professional rally driver) shifted, the B8 jumped ahead directly.
This just prooves that the B5 RS4 Avant is one of the greatest cars ever made. My dream is to find one in very good condition some day, and have a blast of my life.

It was broadcasted on Polish TV just 3 hours ago, and I'm still wiping my drools. I have been searching about a video from this test on the net, but nothing. What I can do, is record it next time it goes broadcast, and upload it on YouTube.

Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro selection introduced, celebrates the original Avant RS2 model

Costs 87,300 EUR
Audi has revealed today the RS4 Avant Nogaro which marks the 20th anniversary of the first RS model, the Avant RS2.

Two decades ago Audi introduced the Avant RS2 which paved the way for an extensive lineup of high-performance RS models from Ingolstadt. Today, Audi is celebrating the anniversary of its original RS model with a special edition of the RS4 Avant painted in the same Nogaro blue exterior paint scheme with a pearl effect finish. A high gloss finish was used for the window slot trims and the front grille while the roof rails have a matte black look.

Under the hood is the same naturally-aspirated V8 4.2-liter taken from the regular RS4 Avant which puts out 450 HP (331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transferred to the quattro all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic transmission which enables the hot wagon to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.7 seconds before topping out at 174 mph (280 km/h).

It sits on 20-inch alloy wheels with 265/30 tires and red brake calipers while at an additional cost the client can opt for front carbon fiber ceramic discs. The interior cabin adopts a black & blue theme with Alcantara and Valcona leather appointments with carbon inlays and special badges on the gear stick and side sills.

Scheduled to hit dealerships in the near future, the Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro selection has a starting price of 87,300 EUR.

Meh... I don't feel the same "wow" as for the B5 and B7.

Also, it needs more low, and I miss the silver lip in the front. It just doesn't wow me..
