And really I did 10 times more serious "offroading" with my e90 back in time
Even with the 1M Is horsepower the way you love it MB fans ?

MB has really stepped up its game in quality and reliability. Unlike other companies that are striving to be the #1 german luxury car maker, MB is doing it the right way, by improving their quality standards making them the MB of yore. Quality machines.

The new ML really is a solid vehicle. It has the conservative look I think a lot of MB customer like and the interior is finally right. I've been in the ML63 AMG and its really something. Expensive as hell too.

Like I've said before. This is the FIRST ML that is truly up to "Benz" standards. Yes, it's nothing that truly excites me or that I'd buy, but I don't like Euro SUV's, and I couldn't imagine M-B doing a better job on it. No gimmicky goofy lines or anything, just a solid, angular, STRONG looking Benz, which will be nice to contrast the completely soft and Soccer-Mommy nature and use for it. It is what an M-B SUV, even considering the demographic, should be, IMO.

Merc1 hey mate have you set in the base Ml350 cdi or petrol and whats your views on the quality and the cabin environment and so on...Also the exterior size and stuff compared to the previous ML where you find improvements...Kindly take a few minutes and tell me also anyone else who have experienced the two i don't mean the ML AMG i mean the regular..

Just checked out the new ML250, basic spec, that is the only version my dealer has. The car looks good in person, the lines work well, the doors feel extremely solid and heavy. The interior is alright, bits of it still feels cheap. I will go into detail soon when I write up my dealership visit+photos

An M157 update from the AMG engine builder.

The Mercedes-AMG M157 5.5L V8 biturbo engine combines performance with efficiency to a previously unknown extent. This is made possible by a unique combination of innovative high-tech systems such as direct petrol injection with piezo injector, twin turbochargers, air/water inter-cooling and the Controlled Efficiency ECO Start-Stop function. Mercedes-AMG is systematically following the trend towards increasing efficiency with its V8 biturbo engine: with a displacement of 5461 cubic centimeters it is precisely 747 cc below the 6208 cc of the naturally aspirated AMG 6.3L V8. Nonetheless, it considerably betters it in terms of both output and torque. The Mercedes-AMG 5.5L V8 biturbo engine develops a peak output from 525-585HP and 700-900Nm of Torque. The Torque curve in particular shows that no other engine in this output class is able to match the figures delivered by the Mercedes-AMG V8 biturbo unit. Despite an increase in output up to 60HP and in torque by 170 and 270 Newton meters compared to the naturally aspirated V8, which develops 525HPand 630 Newton meters, Mercedes-AMG engineers have been able to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions considerably. The achievement of these efficiency and environmental aims has no negative effects whatsoever on dynamic performance. On the contrary, as the Mercedes-AMG 5.5L V8 biturbo fully lives up to AMG's brand commitment to "Driving performance”.
