In Europe, yes. Do we know the same to be true for the NA market?

With the number of copy cat CSL's out here, and personally knowing a guy who spent nearly 15K turning his car into a copy of the CSL, yeah it would sell here. The reason they didn't sell it here, as far as I know, is due to emission issues with the engine.

I would've sold, but since it was a limited run, I don't think it was cost effective for them to test it for NA emissions, and still turn a profit.

They are testing if US customers are interested in this type of limited run cars. I'm sure that these cars will be sold the first couple of days, and if I'm right, there will come more limited and exclusive models.

They will be sold in less than couple of hours. Lot of people in US buy for resale sake...add some premium and resell to some rich guy's kid who does not get the toy through routine channels. Those resellers are sitting by the phone as I type and will be first to call tomorrow.

Thirty 2011 M3 Coupes claimed less than fifteen minutes after lines open.

The 2011 Frozen Gray M3 Coupe continues the tradition of innovation and passion for driving by incorporating key changes to the M3’s dynamic qualities. That's the sad part. But the saddest part is, it's not just the "resellers" who do this. Some shady dealers do it themselves as well.
