X3/X4 [Official] 2011 BMW X3

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3.
There is already photos of X3 with M-package. Why haven't we seen M-package for X1 yet?

Good question. Maybe they have decided not to make an M pack for the X1 just yet.... I, for example, haven't even thought about an M pack for the X1 (so it might not be really needed or something, X1 has no competition from Germany to begin with)

There really is no real competitive for the X1 here - well maybe the VW Tiguan. And there are a lot of them on the roads. Many more then I thought they will sell. But only saw about five X1 in the last few month. Probably the car is just to pricy. And even the X1 is newer, I saw many more X3 (old model) out of the last series with Edition packages etc. So, I think people will went for the new X3 instead of the X1 or going for a complete other model out of the BMW range.

I agree it's a bit Audi-ish....but it looks really, really good!!!

Apart from the passenger side half that reminds me of... it's beautiful!:t-cheers:

You wouldn't have a complex would you with a statement like that. :D

I don't see much of a similarity between them, so I think you can calm down.
:D

If you do not see much of a similarity Footie (Audi guy), it's definitely calming:)

I spoke to my local BMW dealer yesterday by telephone asking him when we should expect the new X3 locally and talking about our views in general on the new X3. As we spoke the thought of a X1 M pack crossed my mind and the dealer said that he had asked in a previous conversation with a BMW SA exec if and when there will be an X1 M Pack, there is nothing on the tables yet the exec said.

X3 3.0d. That's the one I long for... 6.1L per 100! That'll be useful range on long trips.

Key figures:

BMW X3 xDrive30d

258 hp, 0-100 6,0 sec, 6,1 l 100/km

:)

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::usa7uh:

X3 35d will be even more awesome, but this here is mighty impressive already!

Only the way the dash wraps around the central screen. Reminds me of almost all Audi models. For the rest nothing.

On the Belgian BMW website they refer already to the 3.0d engine. They talk about 258hp (eu-spec), 0-100km/h in 6.0 seconds and 160gr/km CO2. Available as from the second quarter of 2011.
So apparently the current 3.0d gets a power upgrade.

In the heat of the discussion people forget to read some messages, the last one was already posted last thursday

I´ve been comparing numbers, and the X3 is just a faster car than the 5er. With the 35i the X3 makes 0-100 in 5.7, and the 5er in 6.0, so well done BMW.

Glad to be of service. :D

Come on, seriously do they really like that alike?

Now here we have the X1 + F10 5er + E90 3er + X6

With all of the above mentioned and in the downloads provided there is a horizontal trim piece running the length of the dash - from door to door.
Typical + generic BMW;) With the X3...well see what I mean?
OK with the X1 it's not 100% the case, although the trim (Wood) runs from the steering wheel left all the way to the dash end right.

Not similar at all :t-hands:
At least, I don't see the connection....

BTW, when I first saw the interior of the E36 many years ago I thought it was the best design interior I had ever seen in my life, of any car :D I so loved those air vents wrapping around the speedo bulge! Maaan. It still looks nice btw.

you're absolutely right , BMW totally ripped audi's MMI out of the car and put in theirs, sneaky bavarian bastards ...

I really dislike the white one, but the black one looks far better. I ainñt know what to think.

:t-hands:

Maybe the white one looks not as good because it does not have xenon lights and no led coronas?

Does the white one even has coronas????:t-hands::t-hands::t-hands::t-hands: It doesn't look like!
