Off topic thread of the day: Your daily drive

Kleeman, your car is very hot!!

Yannis, i know what you're talking about for the E36 316. The point is that i want a 318 instead of a 316. The 318is is better that the 316i. more power, better steering, more nervous. I have tested both and i think the 318is is much better.

Alex, 1500eur. per month is way too much for gas! Here in greece 1500 a month is the salary of a teacher :D .

Not Euro, $1500US. Still a salary for some.....

man alx you gotta drive that car alot.. cause 1500USD.. and gas is cheap over there compared to europe.. i have a 500 well i know the AMG drinks more.. but still i put in like 400-500 usd per month

It is alot plus the car note, and i drive average of 200 miles a day, but that why i got this car, for me its the best well-rounded choice, coupe, luxury, sporty, and stupid fast!

I take the train to get to where I want to go, but if I have to drive it's an '03 ML350. I also drive my roommate's '03 Ford Explorer and some times my cousin's '97 540i....

Gas is expensive these days. Last time I filled up the ML, it came up to around $60 and there was some gas still in the tank.

The only hard park of owning a car in New York is that you can't find a parking spot. One time it took me a little more than 2 hours to find a parking spot near where I live. The parking lot's fee for parking our ML is $400 per month.

I guess that's why MB's commercials would always say "We understand. We live here too." :D

200m/day is crazy. thats what i do in a five day week.

oh yea, and i drive a t-reg..but most of you probably knew that.

1985 Mercedes-Benz 300SE (W126) with no options except sunroof and 4-speed automatic transmission. Quite fuel efficient actually. I get around 10-12 L / 100 km. Not bad for an old '80s boat with a 3-l inline-6. ;)

But then again I don't drive it at all these days. It's having a summer and winter sleep in the garage and is not registered at the moment.

Damn, if I have to look for a spot for 15 minutes, I complain! The longest I've looked is probably 45 minutes, but usually something like 15-30 minutes in Sydney CBD, depending when/which part you want to go of course.

LOL
That's why I don't have a car. It's so much easier to just take the subway to wherever you want to go.

I think the only reason Alex drives that much is because he lives in PA and works in NY. I know a couple of people who drive 2 to 3 hours to their jobs in NYC. No wonder he chose the CL, it must be really comfortable when driving for such a long time. I hate waiting in traffic and especially when you gotta wait like an hour just to cross the Holland Tunnel. :t-banghea

Thats exactly correct... Thats also why i chose the CL55 overall. Its a quick drive because i come and go at hours where there is no traffic, i take rt.80 too 280 too NJT onto SI Expwy, and the Belt Pkwy. NJT-my job is 35-40 minutes. Rt.80-280 takes me about 45-60 minutes. All together about 90 miles. The car is the perfect car for distance especially open highway, fast, comfortble luxurious. You really dont feel the drive at all. Actually its really pleasurable, and needed after a long day at work, take a quick blast on the highway and relax. :usa7uh:

come on, it's almost the same...
I know, im just clarifying. :D

wow, 2 hours to find a parking spot?? Once it took me an hour. no more. Actulally i rent a parking space at a garage close to my job, and it costs me 100eur. 400$ is way too much!!
