MB take a look and learn how to make desirable cars. This 2 door coupe concept is just too good.

Still triggered huh? Trolling really hard. This is nice, but it's a collection of every coupe that they've ever seen.

There are no big 2 door coupes anymore. Except for the 8. So the place is empty. Genesis with an old school design could take it. Calling eqs fugly is not trolling. And u know that.

No you posting that here and saying that somehow Mercedes needs to see this is trolling. Mercedes-Benz corporate isn't coming here to see this when it's online already. Mercedes doesn't need any help on how to design a coupe. The S Coupe is still around for a few more months. You should know this, but probably don't.

I mean, it's a concept after all. A very handsome concept with relatively thin A and C pillars vaguely reminicient of a BMW E9, but a concept nonetheless. The EQS Vision Concept was uncompromising as well and now with the production version's imminent release, we have an idea how that transition went. That said, Hyundai Group's recent production BEV's do look promising from a styling perspective, so we may get something very close to this concept. :t-hands:

Original post about the Genesis X Concept has been moved to a related thread, and these off topic posts have been moved here.

May I remind everyone to keep a civil tone when talking to each other, and also, @Abbat you have the full freedom to express your opinion about what you like or not, but there's no need to post stuff that may trigger unwanted, aggressive discussion.

Thanks.

I'm not sure you are correct with your assumption. I would suppose that the design of the production EQS was created before the EQS concept. So there is no bad transition here and I see the concept as an excuse from the design team for the bad result with the production car due to all the limitation that they were given.

Usually, that is the case and probably is with the EQS' development.

That said, if the Genesis X coupe goes into production, the production version's design, which was likely approved and frozen before this coupe concept reveal is likely compromised to take into account more realistic demands of the consumer and federal regulations. Or perhaps this concept was merely a styling exercise to show where the Genesis brand is heading.

A legitimate observation. And as delightful as the Genesis X Concepts' exterior design is, it is hardly very original. I'm even seeing distant traces of the Ferrari 400i GT and 456 GT, as well as the (Frua) Maserati Mexico, here.

I must say that the sculpturing of the Genesis X flanks absolutely blows me away.

Exactly what came to my head as soon as I saw it, and I posted it before reading your post in the Genesis thread, I interpreted it as a "modern 412" which is basically the same as the 400iGT you mention
