Which is all this thread is. So what's your problem?

The beauty of this thread is that I, and anybody else, can question Scott's posts without clogging up the other threads. That way you don't even have to see any of these posts if you don't want to. And I remind you, whilst I am doing all the posting, there are many people who "agree" with my posts. Have a look for yourself. So it's not just me.

No Fatty. There shouldn't be any discussion about Scott here or anywhere else.
Because you see Fatty, he's just another member. And a member can post everything he damn well pleases if it's within the guidelines. You not liking what he posts is not relevant at all. This thread is shameful! And if anything it should be about you Fatty, not Scott.

He is NOT just another member. Scott has, THROUGH HIS OWN CHOICE, come onto this forum and made himself known to be an "insider" for BMW. He even has his own area on the forum. He continuously chooses to reveal various information, some of which turns out to be false. If you think that then doesn't justify someone questioning these posts then you are completely deluded. He doesn't get to have his own area on the forum, act in a semi-official manner, and then not face the music when it turns out to be utter rubbish. It works both ways.

As long as he calls Scott Scoot in the way he does (in a mean, downgrading way), I'll call him Fatty. Because it sounds a lot like Betty. I actually don't know what Betty looks like in real life, he could be thin like a lucifer for all I care.

No it's not the same. "Scoot" is an inoffensive word that originated from a typo by Ali. "Fatty" is an insult. Does it bother me? Not at all. The day anything you say bothers me is the day I give up on life.


Now, @braaf, @klier, or any other of you people who don't like this thread. Don't come in it if you don't like it. I'll remind you that this thread is titled "Off topic posts on the role of Scott". It was created BY A MOD. They could have deleted the posts, but they didn't. They are obviously OK with the thread, so if you don't like it then don't come into the thread! It's quite simple! The good thing is, as long as this thread exists then I, or anybody else for that matter, has no excuse for posting off-topic about Scott in other threads. So what exactly are you complaining about?!

As I have said in this very thread, this is not a personal vendetta. Why would I, a lifelong BMW fan who has owned many BMWs (my new M2 is built next week by the way), have anything against a BMW employee posting inside information on this site?

Inoffensive as a word without context. But fair enough if it's true what you say, it just comes over as rude if you keep on doing it.

Just ignore, or correct what's factually untrue. It's fairly simple really, because I mostly agree with your main concerns, yet raise an eyebrow and move on. Everybody here has his own ideas, that's the beauty of a free forum without censorship. Scott informs on some of the many ideas floating around in such a large company. Some of it materializes, and some of it turns out to be vaporware. The latter is usually the case bt who cares? If you want facts just read the year reports or subscribe to the official social media outlets. All highly boring I can assure you!

How does the existence of this thread prohibit Scott continuing to post his inside info? People who are happy to fawn over him and fall for his games can do so in all the other sections of this forum, AND CAN CHOOSE NOT TO VISIT THIS THREAD. People who don't believe things he says and doubts his actual role within BMW, can post in this thread.

Hmmm, maybe, people who don`t believe things he says and doubts his actual role within BMW, can put him on ignore list, and not wasting time posting in this thread....I "attacked" Scott three years ago when he was wrong with timeframe for i8 premiere (just like this time with 5 series), but I wrote one post about that, and that was it...but this, your personal crusade against Scott, is insane...Scott is not different than most of auto journalists....just look what they write in their articles, pure lies and imagination, of course, with magic spice:"we heard this from our insider"...and you paid for that magazines! This forum is for free, and it have magic option "ignore list"....

FFS @tomazino I didn't post this thread! It was created by the mods precisely so the other threads remain on topic! You've chosen to come into this thread even though the subject is quite clear. It's quite simple. If you don't want to discuss Scott's role then don't come into this thread!! Jesus! What don't you understand about that!

Seriously though, you might not get what you want out of this thread, yet I can understand keeping this thread alive. In the event Scott misinforms or whatever it may be, you'll have somewhere to vent. At the same time, the nature of the thread is more negative than informative so people might come here and post in defense of Scott even if you/they have justifiable reasons to argue Scott's sketchiness.

Side note, you should think about having the thread name changed to: "Off topic posts on the role of Scoot" lol.

Lol i like the fact that we are discussing if Scott should be here or not, or if he should have his own section, and if this thread should go or stay. None of us has any say in this, those who have are just observing.

Hell let him be, let this thread be, let me still use BMW threads to call him out, even though we have this thread.
