Here's another interesting idea! Have you ever crash your/a car?

Me? Never

I'm waiting for your stories guys?

I rear ended a car when i was younger about 14, with my moms car... no real damage to either. I took off with the car, and parked back in the garage.

I was hit a few times when i was younger too like 10yrs ago or so.

Guy( Car service) ran a red light and hit the nose of my car and sent me flying into parked cars. And after a month of being in the shop and paying cash to fix it, i finally splurged for full coverage, and exactly one week later to the day, to the hour, a car service decided to make a left turn from the right lane and didnt see me driving along the left and side swiped me into a row of parked cars.

Thats about the worst of it!

Ive been in a couple of minor ones, was once dune bashing with a friend of mine in my '96 jeep grand cherokee, then came this ditch i didnt notice lol, crashed nose first.

Another one was on October 14th 2004, ill never forget this date cuz this was the day when I guess my blood pressure reached 1000 beats per milli second. This idiot was on a round about, he was in the middle lane and I was on the right, I was heading straight which is correct, the guy went and made a VERY sharp right turn and hit me, he said it was my fault, and road arrows clearly show it was his. At the end he was like " those road arrows are wrong" :S. Argued with the cop that those arrows are wrong, the cop was wrong, and he was correct lol.

Wow, you seem to have it pretty bad with those parked cars. Sorry to ask but what do you mean car service?

I am proud to say that I've never crashed... and this is after living in places like Moscow Russia and Pretoria South Africa. :t-crazy2:

Ahmed that's a funny situation: p and Alx thats some bad luck u got with those car service guys, i my self have the same problem but with taxi drivers lol.

well i was driving fast to catch a green light on the fast lane, and this taxi decides to turn left right in front of me to make a U turn i hit the brakes (S Class brakes lol) i felt ABS for the first time and i hit him just on the side of his rear bumper, but thanks God nothing happened just some scratches that went away with some polish.

second time i was heading home 4 lunch and was kinda in a hurry coz i had a lecture to after lunch so i came out of this tunnel doing 140km/hr in a Nissan Patrol, i think most of u dont get this model, its a 4x4 the members from Australia surely know the Patrol (King of the Desert :D) anywayz this taxi was parked on the side of the road, and again like the first time goes right in front of me i saw him from a long distance but the car had desert tyres so no matter how strong ur brakes are the car wont stop :s so i hit him really hard and he hits another car also parked on the side of the road. and thank God no one was hurt not even the patrol it was amazing that nothing happened to it i mean the other cars were damaged badly i only had to change the middle piece of the bumper.

Drive Safe Guys.

Scary stuff... I have to say that my heart raced 60 percent of the times I was in SA roads. Those "Taxis" (Martinbo can back me up I'm sure) are absolutely insane. thank goodness for BMW power and brakes, they both came in handy

P.S. Nissan Patrols are tanks... they were always my favs.

Car service is like a Taxi service, but they are private cars, not yellow cabs. Same concept....

So its always the taxis huh? Ya ya blame it on them poor creatures :D but your somewhat right about the taxis though :S. Here in Dubai its like theyre always speeding. Its like those public roads are a circuit of some sort.

Edit: Oh ya :D I once got run over :D

Meet your SA "Taxis"... absolutely freaken scary.

30 year old, 30 people inside, doing 130kmh... One hilarious quote from my co-worker. "That's why I don't like rollercoasters... I have taxis for that" :t-rot:

Ahmed, story about getting run over?

I didnt drive but my friend did.
We were three persons in the car.
We were driving on a road full of gravel and my friend thought he was a rally driver.
He hit the floor and suddenly the road turned right and since he was driving fast he lost control over the car. Apprently gravel is dangerous ;)
Lucky for us a tree stopped us, if it wasnt for the tree we would crash into a house.
We saw smoke coming from the engine so we got out of the car faster than I ever done before but there was no explosion.

Anyway, the car was demolished and taken to the junkyard so bye bye car. We all three survived but the car didnt. This happen 12 years ago.

:t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: can't stop laughing

happy you survived, though. Did you break any bones? :D

It seems that many of us here have unpleasant stories. I, though, who live in Greece with millions of bad drivers, never touched another car with mine

A year ago in my old Audi 90 S, a guy rear-ended me causing me to slam into the back of a jeep(which had a trailor hitch) which pretty seriously damaged my car. Insurance paid me off for the car which they determined was totaled. So with the cash i went and bought a 01 A4 :)
