Next generation 3-series

The Concept CS interior is one reason to re-energize my enthusiasm about post-E90 generation.

One thing is for sure; the next 3er is to be lighter than the current generation car. :usa7uh: That was confirmed by a BMW engineer.

For starters the 7er will begin the new phase of design put forward by the CS Concept studie, And then the 5er will inherit elements ,when I say elements I mean certain design cues will feature but they are not all going to be the same shape but in a different size like we used to do.

The 3er which is still a long way from being realised will also inherit the new design language but we are at least a long period of time from a chosen design.

That is a very repulsive car shown in the cover. Surely it will look better than that.

LOL, and I'm loving it already :D I can't wait for the next line of BMW cars with CS DNA....Looks like we're in for qiute some arguements next gen Yannis :D :D

Must have been a slow news week that they pulled out a crap photoshop out of their ass...LOL :D

AMS guys have bad taste for humor. And absolutely no imagination ... and no real CGI making skills. Not every BMW from now on will be a CS carbon copy.

Also like Scott said: new 3er is coming in 2012. It is still in very early development phases. No activities regarding design ... The final design will be known sometimes in late 2008 / early 2009.

A bunch of other new models is coming before new 3er: X6, new 7er, new Z4, F5, Z8, new X3, new 6er, new 1er, X4, perhaps even Z2 & new 8er ... And there is also X1 in consideration, and F3 ...

Interesting future indeed.

thats kinda boring.. its like the E90 with a CS grill..haha
